I would say that killing somebody is vague. You would have to break it down to whether or not it was murder. I think most moral standards say murder is wrong, and self-defense is justified.

I agree with you here. Too many Christians vote solely on how much a person says the name Jesus. One can say they are a Christian, but being one is entirely different. Like you, I do feel that it is a huge plus if a politician is christian in creed and action.
