Australian Government slammed by Amnesty International

JSIW, My BIL is schitzophrenic and often goes missing, causes great heartache and worry to his familynot to mention considerable expense. I just wish he'd had the good sense to claim he was an asylum seeker and didn't speak the language (he's been known to speak other languages, too) he should...

Six months since the Cronulla riots and nothing has changed.

The Dag, I just wish that you could expended as much sympathetic compassion upon the victims of crime as you seem to upon the offenders.

Australian Government slammed by Amnesty International

Amnesty International is an international joke. They lose credibility with every inane statement they make. What a bunch of simpering apologist basketcases. I'd like to see them grapple with these issues and suggest some worthwhile, workable solutions instead of pontificating from their ivory...

As usual, Ebia, your comments don't make sense.

    Bibles banned: any thoughts?

Ebia, methinks you protest too much.

    Bibles banned: any thoughts?

Phew! Thanks guys! You know, it's a real worry that when and if, one states one's views, one has to worry about being slammed as a bigot or a racist if it just happens to oppose a minority view! I despair where this precious, special country is heading along with other Western nations, just...

    Bibles banned: any thoughts?

Which brings us back to the point, tgg, about the banning of bibles in Australian hospitals It seems it hardly raises an eyebrow if the Bible is banned, but if it was even suggested that the Koran be banned, well I can imagine the rumpus. Hardly a whimper can be heard from those champions of...

    Bibles banned: any thoughts?

So how do the precious PC brigade reconcile this? On the one hand, their shrieks of indignation regarding any opponents to multiculturalism are deafening, although most of us didn't vote for an international influx of diverse and conflicting cultures....I hear nothing supporting multiracialism...

    Bibles banned: any thoughts?

I'm not selling out, Temp,. Just acknowledging a point. BUT A point Moslems should contemplate is measuring Christ's life against Mahommed's. The contrast is startling. Christ was sinless, Mahommed?.......for starters, he took a bride aged 9............? Now I'm gonna be in all sorts of...

    Touche, Ebia!

And I thought Rev. Fred Nile was bad enough!

I, too agree with Anduril and Kris J. This guy is standing up for TRUTH, however unpalatable that is to many. You can't dilute the bible to suit so called modern day ideals. PC (shudder) a festering sore on truth. Fred Nile simply tells it like it is, and bugger the PC fallout. Good for him.

    Bibles banned: any thoughts?

Ebia, If Moslems reflect the majority, and if elected, good luck to them! But, I get a little tired of apologists like you who promote a religion that is incompatable with the opinion of much of Australia.

    What would you do?

I'm inclined to be sceptical when someone uses a 'Christian' tag to promote business, tgg. IMHO, these people are a disgrace to their church and their profession. Report him to everyone you can, and BTW, best of luck with the car (I hope it wasn't a Ford, heh)
