I am not a fan of religion but I think hate is a word that is used too lightly. I have no personal reason to hate abrahamic or monotheistic religions but I do resent them. I am usually accepting of decent human beings who belong to said religions.

I never considered myself a feminist because I was always going on about equality for all agendas. Then I got debated on a forum about it. Now I recognise that I am a feminist. I do not advertise it though, people think of the radical man haters.

I think they would feel bad I was upset but would standby the message.

Monotheism tends to put women in a lesser role based on the holy texts and current teachings. There are mixed views on the treatment of women in islam communities and countries which is fuelled by media.

I went home from youth group once wanting to ball my eyes out because I thought my nanna was going to burn in hell and I would never see my cat again.

Question - does your religion or faith path hold women in the same kind of view as islam and christianity (back seat roles) or are women more empowered and on equal playing field with men?

The type of meditation i like to engage in is one that is more of mindfulness and clearing the mind.

Hi All, Totally forgot about this thread! It turns out my difficulty losing weight which resulted in a lot of binges and even increased cravings were due to a medication I was taking long term that is not meant to be taken long term (prednisolone). I was given the bad advice to stop suddrenly...

I think the problem with debates and discussions around homosexuality is that people think it is just about sex. Also, wanted to add that it is not classed as a disease/disorder/illness, curse, punishment, political statement etc.

That is what worries me. I see anti muslim sentiments in daily life not to mention the fact that the australian PM put Australia on terrorism threat alert before there was an actual threat (now there is) and I think this may have been so he could start "counter terrorism raids" on islamic...

Things are pretty crazy at the moment with the ISIS, Hamas and the wars everywhere. People in western countries are freaking out about terrorism and showing prejudice about all people who believe in islam and I just wanted to say that I really hope that you do not experience any harassment or...
