Has anti-Catholic bigotry ever made you consider your faith?

Your Pope compared secularism to Nazism. And you wonder why people don't like the RCC?

    God and Sarah Palin

An EVUL media conspiracy didn't make her say Africa was a country, or that she had foreign affairs experience because Alaska is close to Russia.

What can we all agree on?

The most well known STORY anyway. As for children, indoctrinating children before they have the capacity to know better is SO cute.

    God and Sarah Palin

Yeah you gotta hate "double standards" like this person seems intelligent and qualified, versus this person seems unqualified and makes incoherent statements that display a lack of knowledge about an array of politically important subjects.

Teachers Upset Over Seminar At Church+

*Shrugs* I'm sure if say this was a situation of say some Christians having to have some event in a mosque, some people's tunes would be different. If the teachers don't feel comfortable about this, they should, and apparently did speak up about it.

My brother's Youth Group is having a Book Burning

In fact there ARE Christian groups in the US who advocate that when the Christian theocracy takes over America, they will try, convict and execute various people for their supposed crimes against God.

Michael VicK, Prison was a turning point.

I didn't know Rodger Goodell was the Judeo/Christian/Islamic deity.

Michael VicK, Prison was a turning point.

I would also mention, this whole event could be a real triumph from the animal rights groups. If Vick, at least as he seems to be, is really changed by this, he could be a new spokesperson against animal cruelty. Giving his status as a former NFL star and potential star in his new time back in...

Michael VicK, Prison was a turning point.

Also I would say I agree with what Mike Golic said. Playing in the NFL is NOT a privilege. It's a job you have to earn the right to do.

Michael VicK, Prison was a turning point.

Agreed 110% Metting out properly finite punishments for crimes is meaningless if people feel the need to perpetually re-punish people for debts they've paid. It reduces justice to simple revenge. And that is good for no one.

Okay!! Here's one I've never seen before: Human Variation aboard (?) the Ark.

Creationism really does try to go the extra mile to make their non science try to at least have the cursory appearance of science.

What good has fundamentalism ever done for the world?

You don't actually understand the term do you? If you said, "You should solely take my opinion of book X seriously because lots and lots of people have the same opinion." That would be the logical fallacy. Again..look at your sentence. You directly told someone to consider changing their...

What good has fundamentalism ever done for the world?

Intended premise? or unintended premise? If the former then why ask me, since you seem to know what it is. If the latter, *points at the logical fallacy*

What good has fundamentalism ever done for the world?

Whether your intention to use the logical fallacy or not is irrelevant. By definition, the sentences you used were an argumentum ad populum. I would recommend a restructured statement that more clearly establishes your intended statement.

What good has fundamentalism ever done for the world?

Actually...yes I do. Hence the quoted portion, you used the argumentum ad populum. Whether your intention was to do so or not is irrelevant. For everybody BUT Hentenza. Lets have a reading comprehension exercise shall we. truth claim that more than 50% of the current world...

What good has fundamentalism ever done for the world?

I would also add that it's faulty logic to think simply saying, "I have a moral reason(with the obviously implied, based on MY morals) to dislike homosexuality." means that the foundation upon which that moral structure is made is rational. Someone might have moral reasons to not use their...
