Ugh, my fear of heights is strong enough to make me nauseous looking at those bridge pictures! I try not to look down or sideways when crossing a bridge. Thankfully I don't drive (fear of speed, among other things). Then there's fear of crowds (and three is a crowd, in my book!), fear of humans...

Alright, you're not talking about France and your post wasn't directed at me even if it appeared to be. I'm not a mindreader. I still can't follow your thinking - from terminology on French government documents to (I think) American healthcare politics is quite a stretch.

It'll be a challenge but that's a good thing! Arabic looks so pretty. Also, knowing Arabic helps if you want to learn Hebrew (and vice versa) as both are semitic languages. I don't know any Arabic but I love food from middle eastern countries.
