That last thing does sound odd, I agree! Some schools in the UK teach a version of sex ed from age 4 1/2 (when children start school here) onwards. A younger cousin of mine and her class were given picture books about cats and how they have kittens, to start them thinking about family life and...

I don't see why parents and teachers can't work together to make sure their kids are empowered by the truth about sex and relationships from an early age. Open honest communication with children on this matter is possible without spoiling their innocence.

We had ours a week and a half after the wedding. It was a long weekend in Prague, then we had to come back because of school, assessments, grr :) It was lovely while it lasted.

I wore a tea-length (think that's whay they call it?) light pink formal dress. It was gorgeous. I felt like a bride whereas I would've felt like an oversized doll in a traditional wedding dress... no offense intended! I LOVE wedding dresses on other women. I just never liked them on myself :)

I'm guilty of downloading music and Family Guy and Scrubs episodes, but I buy the real thing eventually to keep on the right side of the law and God. Plus I like to own the 'real thing'. I'm not perfect, though.
