Chris was pretty mild. But he did cross a line in joking about Will's wife, ratherthan sticking to the nominees. And since then it's been discovered that he had done it before. So this wasn't the first time Chris had done this either.

I am more of a Will Smith fan as a result of the unfortunate event. Nothing against Chris Rock, but I am not a fan of comedy that is based on insulting people. Whether that was his intent or not, his comedy has a lot of that inherently, although he is far from the worst.

Even if we don't understand it all, we can look at the spirit and fruit of those who do have that faith, people of faith going back to the ancient times. And that is what should encourage anyone.

Everyone has to grow up. Losing that innocence is a natural part of life at that time.

I hear the sound of people ignoring the suffering multitudes in their midst, so they can pretend to focus on trivial things like whether an audio clip is saying Laurel or Yanny.

I'm certainly not trying to criticize anyone who might be a fundamentalist. Nor do I think I am better or even as good as those kind of believers. I'm just trying to understand what is in the Bible as it was originally written.
