Because you and they say so? I don't see it. You can't biblically restrict Christ's church to one group when the Bible indicates that to be saved is to be in Christ's church.

Most Jews reject Christ as the Messiah. They can't do this and go to heaven as Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no man comes to the Father but by Him. Without Christ, they are lost. Praise God for the Jews who have come to accept Christ.

God used Christian men, including their various personalites and such which come through and it's still 100 % inspired. If it's not all God's word, how do you pick which part is or isn't. I don't believe God gave us a partially inspired Bible.

Where does it say that in the text? I certainly don't see it. Christ's blood cleanses us from all sin and makes us white, pure, and clean for heaven. This passsage isn't about a purgatory, it's being read into it imho.

Obviously, this is one of many subjects that we aren't going to agree on. The Bible clearly states salvation is not of works. I don't know how it could be any clearer, so that's what I believe People get mixed up and think it's the works that saved when it's the faith that produces the works.

Another thing James says is what profits a man if he SAYS he has faith indicating a person can claim to have faith without really having it. Really having it will produce the works. I don't believe James is teachings salvation by works at all, otherwise he's contradicting the rest of Scripture...

Whether or not it's the largest Christian group in the world remains to be seen in my opinion. I don't think it is but that's my opinion which I think opinions should be allowed.

Scripture can't contradict itself and it says we aren't saved by works in very plain language. If you want to believe we are, fine.

Works are the outward indication that salvation has occured. It doesn't mean that we're saved by them otherwise the Bible contradicts itself. Ephesians 2:8-9 clearly states we're not saved by works. James, I think, is looking on things from man's perspective. No one will know we have faith...

Absolutely true. Christ's church consists of all the saved, whatever body they attend and He knows exactly who is really His and who isn't. The difference between the wheat and the tares, sheep and goats.
