Who Canonized Scripture, the EO or Rome?

Hi shinbits- We should look at evidence to see the authority of the Pope. This quote by St Irenaeus was from the 2nd century, which was 800 years before the EO broke off from the Pope. The EO accept St Irenaeus as a Church Father, so its curious that some of them seem to know better than him...

Collapse of Protestantism in the USA

Sure... This one will not hear of Baptism, and that one denies the sacrament, another puts a world between this and the last day: some teach that Christ is not God, some say this, some say that: there are as many sects and creeds as there are heads. No yokel is so rude but when he has dreams...

Collapse of Protestantism in the USA

I beg to differ friend. Luther didn't know what he was doing. He actually commented that he had tried to get rid of one Pope and created many more, because everyone could be there own Pope. He regretted it. I've read other Reformers expressing similiar ideas. The point is that the...

It is time for a new Holy Inquisition

Sure, but I kind of doubt it it the Catholic takes his faith seriously enough to be on a forum about it. The ones that are Catholic by culture, or name, or routine, probably don't know their Catechism.

I think he meant a non-Catholic is being authoritative on Catechism teachings.
