Jews, Arab Christians or Muslim Arabs?

A little off topic, but when you look at the background of the so-called "Christian Arabs," they're not really Arabs. Most of them are just Arabized Romans, Aramaeans and Copts. Before the 7th century Arab invasion of the Northern Middle East and North Africa, they spoke Greek, Aramaic and...

Insurance Companies: Get Sterilized and Then We'll Cover You

And private insurance companies have this endless supply of money? When a middle class person becomes seriously ill or injured, the insurance companies put a price cap on this person, and eventually drop him or her. Thus, increasing his difficulties and burdens. Let's face it, the insurance...

He's concerned for interracial children? lol He's probably worried that interracial children might grow up to be president one day, because as we all know, Barack Obama is interracial. His dad's black and mom's white, and he's successful.

Bible verses banned from Ga. school football field

The Warriors of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High took the field on Friday night without any Bible verses written on the cheerleaders' banner. Instead, the football team ran through a banner that read "This is Big Red Country" before each bent on a knee to pray on the field of Tommy Cash Stadium...

    Watching Obama's Town Hall Speech

Adding a public option to the picture will challenge private insurers and make them compete more, yes. As for "strangling private insurers" to go out of business, not quite. There are countries that give their citizens the choice of either a government run option, or a private insurance option...

America has the best health care

Multiple options is a pretty good idea. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea if we added a government run public option to the list of "Multiple options." We'll be killing two birds with one stone, Americans who prefer a private option will be happy, and Americans who prefer a government option will...

    Watching Obama's Town Hall Speech

Personally I prefer that we have a single-payer, and I happen to be conservative. However Obama's plan right now is better than nothing. Our health care system is in dire need of reform. As long as the public option isn't dropped from the proposed health reform bill, I'm okay with it.

    Coleman concedes race to Franken

Bill O'Reilly and Al Franken got into a heated debate one time a few years back, I believe. I think O'Reilly told Franken to shut up when he was interrupted.

Cinco de Mayo & the Civil War

If I recall correctly, my Spanish teacher told me that the French took over Mexico in order to retrieve land they lost to the United States in the Louisiana Purchase. So the strategy of the French was to invade the United States from the south from Mexico.

California High Court Rules Against Gay Marriage, Except Those Already Done

I'm glad the California Supreme Court had the wisdom to go with the will of the people. Thank God for Democracy. The Origins of Allah.

Aramaic never changed into anything. A lot of people still speak Aramaic. A good example would be in Ma'loula, Syria. However, Aramaic was the predominant language in the northern Middle East, especially in the Levant region that make up the modern day countries of Syria, Lebanon, Israel...
