    Pushing Daisies

LOST and Pushing Daisies. The victims of greed known as the writers strike (greed on both sides it seems to me). This is a great show. I look forward to more episodes ASAP.

I am really regretting seeing "I Am Legend" last night

There are a lot of movies I reget seeing. But this isn't one of them. It was intense, but I knew that by talking with those who have seen it before me and by the reivews. AVP 2 was a much more "horror" than Sci Fi type of flick. That movie suxed.

    Pushing Daisies

I thought it was pretty good. I think the show is progessing nicely. Paul Ruben as the creepy guy with the great sense of smell (and smelling the death on Chuck) is great. It always cracks me up how chipper the dead people are when they are brought back to life and find out they are dead...

Will you see / have you seen The Golden Compass?

Well I think this week's 62% plunge and 3 place showing makes this a flop. It can go with the Eragon and Battlefield Earth as some overhyped Sci Fi dookie. Will Smith's I AM Legend killed it.

    TD Jakes

You are correct that God can use anyone. Even an athiest, nature, or the art's to work in one's heart or to reflect God. Even unorthodox Christians. However, I think one needs to be careful in that regard. A Mormon believer can show us how to love someone in Chirst, but I would not seek...

How Old Were You On Your Fist Date?

I put over 21. I was very shy in High School. I did ask one girl out, but we never got a chance to date (because I had to work) and then a girl asked me out and that was the first date. It was ok at first. I'm not much of a dater, I'm more of a "let's hang out to get to know each other a few...

    TD Jakes

I am sorry to get back to Laura so late on this but here: Here is a great definition of Modalism in Theopidia. plmarquette, Here is a simple way of showing T.D. Jakes Modalism (even if it is a slight variation): The Potter House Statement of Faith: You can see they define God as...

Michael Moore's Next Documentary Subject: Homophobia and Gay Rights?

wow. I"m really so so excited (you can't tell, but the intonation of the voice in my head when typing this is really really sarcastic, really).

What is your favorite movie love story?

I haven't read the thread, but I may be the first to say: "Untamed Heart" (I wish some girl would steal my baboon heart.) :) I also like "Bounce" "10 Things I hate About You" and "She's All That" "Say Anything" and "Much Ado About Nothing." I'm also a sucker for "Pretty Woman", but that...

Am I the only person who enjoys Quentin Tarantino's acting?

I recently caught QT part in Pulp Fiction. I thought he did ok in that and in RD. It's not "amazing" acting, but he holds his own sometimes.

    Grindhouse / Planet Terror

Haven't seen it and don't really plan on seeing it. From the reviews I read and what I read about the movie it seems that QT and RR really just went towards action rather than making a "smart" movie. Sad. I have even been somewhat disappointed with the Kill Bill series. They were...

Will you see / have you seen The Golden Compass?

I saw it's box office wasn't that impressive (but box office down in general). I'm much more looking forward to "I Am Legend" as I heard it has a great philosophical undercurrent besides the whole thriller/scifi/horror element. I also think other great movies out there (that didn't draw the...

Will you see / have you seen The Golden Compass?

I have seen some weak reviews on the movie. I'll probably skip this one for various reasons.

    Pushing Daisies

I heard this show given rave reviews on Entertainment Weekly that I get and I had to check it out. I happen to catch half of it. I thought it was great. I put it on the TIVO to record and saw my second episode recently. The show was not what I was expecting at all. Great narration, original...

Premil v. Partial Pret. Debate Hanegraaff v. Hitchcock

JudgeDan, Let's try to keep this thread on the OP (Original Post). There are some rules of interaction here on Christian Forums (I'm learning them as I go along as well) and since you are new you may not have known them. There is a thread on Soteriology (I"m pretty sure) that you can go and...

To Tree or not to Tree

I rent, so a short little artificial tree is good enough for me now. I like artificial trees. Enviromentally good as long as you reuse it multiple times. My mom has an artificial tree from back in the 60's and she pretty much uses that tree every year. Now it is retro.

Premil v. Partial Pret. Debate Hanegraaff v. Hitchcock

I still don't see it, but I do appreciate your time. I don't want to go too off focus of the OP (which was mine). :) Thanks again. -Ted.

Premil v. Partial Pret. Debate Hanegraaff v. Hitchcock

I understand what you are trying to say, but this doesn't really address the question that I gave before. As Revelations 11:15 says, do you now believe that the Kingdome of This World is the Kingdom of our Lord? I look around and I don't see it. So Jesus burned some weeds at 70 AD, but I...

Premil v. Partial Pret. Debate Hanegraaff v. Hitchcock

With that reasoning, then wouldn't have Christ (who you say began his reign over the whole earth when he defeated sin on the cross) should have been crucified at the dating of of Revelations 11:15 (which you date +70AD) since the statement seems to be saying it happened at that point? I see...

    Season 4

No, Since I don't have a bluray player, but I would be interested to know what those special features contain.
