Just thought I'd add to the conversation. It is pretty convenient that we have a president who cut taxes for the rich, repealed the dividend tax, has lots of money in oil, and now higher gas prices = higher profits = more dividends = more money to Bush Co. Coincidence? :scratch: I think not.

If a person's brain is so limited due to mental retardation, then it might be impossible for that person to understand the concept of religion, God, the Bible, etc. So never having accepted God/Jesus (unless your Catholic, the whole baptism thing) I'm not sure where they go. One would think...

From my own experiences I have never observed any major objections to a Christian wedding a non-Christian. But I have observed major objections when a Christian weds an atheist, to the point of "Marry this heathen and I will never speak to you again." Why is this? Can anyone provide insight?

I speculate that most would claim science will never prove such a thing.

I always found it interesting that there is a story about creation that Christians hold so dear. But who was there to record it? Did Adam and/or Eve write it? Did their children write it? How can anyone be sure of the accuracy of this story? Doesn't make sense. How did Adam and/or Eve know that...
