I am "fixed." I got a vasectomy at age, oh, 34 or 35, somewhere in there. The first doctor I went to agreed to it. I played a pretty good angle with him: I asked him, which would my HMO (his employer) rather pay for, a vasectomy or childbirth? He signed the authorization on the spot. :thumbsup...

Me neither, and I live right in the heart of tornado country (Illinois). However, on March 12, 2006, two F2's tore through my city, and at the time I was about 500 feet from one of them. If I had opened the door of the building where I was, I would have seen it.

I have never... Seen a James Bond movie from beginning to end. Owned a hand-held gaming system such as a Nintendo DS or a PSP. Had a broken bone.

It just worked out that way. We didn't deliberately seek out singles or other childfree couples to be friends with -- it just worked out that way.

1. Do you have friends who are parents? My closest friendships are with people who are single, and then Mrs. Homie and I are "couples friends" with a childfree couple and a couple who's on the fence. I have friends at church who are parents, but we don't generally socialize outside of church...
