I haven't seen headcovering as a common practice in any Lutheran church I've attended, but I wouldn't let that stop you. In my experience congregations would be supportive/welcoming of someone doing that.

From what I have understood, Methodists tend to describe their bishops in administrative/oversight terms while Anglicans describe theirs in apostolic succession/sacramental terms.

Most Anglicans/liturgical Protestants who read from the Apocrypha use the NRSV. Other editions with the apocrypha include the RSV, Good News, and even the ESV has an Apocrypha now. You may also want to consider the Catholic translation, the NABRE.
