Given the Utopian scenario you point out in the rural Northeast then the flight from those rural environs defies all logic.

Gosh, one wonders what might be the reason so many people are leaving a wealthy subsidized rural life in liberal Northeastern states to find shelter elsewhere?

Because despite the subsidies, it's not wealthy and it still sucks.

Did you seriously just suggest that the only thing required for a Utopia is that we spend tax dollars in an area? ^_^

Oh, and you likely should check your geography. Seattle is in the northwest.

Gosh, on wonders why the goalposts are suddenly shifting away from your claims of money being stolen and given to others? Is the money collected in taxes from rural areas being shifted to the cities or the other way around NHE?

The discussion going back several posts has been about flight from rural areas in the liberal Northeast.

Perhaps you didn't read the earlier posts?

Well, you jump into the middle of a discussion, change all the boundaries ... and that'll happen.

Just sayin ...

I was talking about evidence from where I live. Perhaps you did not read my post?

How careless of me to change the boundaries of talking about how taxes are spent in rural versus populated areas to how taxes are spent in rural versus populated areas. Now then, is the money collected in taxes from rural areas being shifted to the cities or the other way around NHE?

Don't know for your area.

The area under discussion was the liberal Northeast.

That did not answer my question.
As I said, the ongoing discussion was about rural flight from the liberal Northeast. According to the earlier map your part of the country isn't suffering from a similar problem.

So, how would you like to continue the discussion?

I would like you to answer my question. Is or is not the taxes payed in the rural part of the country being redirected to the cities or is it the other way around?

Not to be rude, but your question was well beyond the boundaries of the ongoing discussion about rural flight from liberal Northeast states with high taxes.
Is or is not the taxes payed in the rural part of the country being redirected to the cities or is it the other way around?
You are the one providing data on that subject. Your data though shows that life is good in rural Washington state ... which agrees with the demographic chart presented earlier which also shows a growing population in rural Washington state.

Perhaps Washington state is different either in amount of taxes or how it apportions taxes than the liberal Northeast states?

It would not be the first time I have been mistaken on someones claims. So you were not claiming in this post (Are Democrats going to do everything the same in 2020? ) that taxes in rural areas were being redirected to the cities?

Perhaps it is. Do you have any data to that effect? From everything I have ever heard it is pretty universal in it going the other direction.
