The problem with your logic is that it doesn't follow Christ's ways. Christ dies for the sinner put you put the sinner to death!

To preach His love as obedience to His law doesn't allow sin but brings the sinner before the throne of grace where they belong, not in the grave, where you bash them without mercy nor grace with your loveless legalism and your destructive logic.

However when a sinner meets up with God's grace they more often than not despise themselves sinners and repent from their sins.

Now Jesus says by the fruits you will recognize the tree, this is true in this case as well. For your comments have infuriated those already hurting satan's lies and driven them even further away from God than they were before your blunt words cut them off as sinners instead of offered them grace like Christ would want us to.

You turn God into the accuser dragon and God's grace into a blood bath and you still think you got it right. However where in Scripture does it say Jesus has to die twice? It doesn't rather the opposite. So please if you feel the need to preach and correct people then make sure you tow the line yourself and don't yield the sword to cut down those destined to die rather than let Jesus save them undeserved like you yourself claim to have been.

So please go elsewhere and preach your blend of of repentance elsewhere instead of hassle those who try to enter the kingdom but are hindered by suffering and pain and the lies satan has brought onto their ways.

Now please brother go and learn what it means when the Word says - God desires mercy not sacrifice - and when you find the answer to that come back and help us here bring people out of their darkness into His marvelous light. For surely we are not fighting flesh and blood but the spiritual forces of darkness and I'm sorry to say you haven't demonstrated much light in your answers or brought any good fruit on the table.

Rather you have driven the hurting ones away - you never even offered them a glass of water - but whipped them with your legalistic demands instead. Go please go somewhere else and debate your sin theories, this forum is to support those who are hurting, not trample them as you have been doing.

I am sorry there is so much misunderstanding, but we are in the end days with many false teachers teaching unlawfullness.

I am absolutely positive that you have read many, many verses saying willful sinners will not enter heaven. The difference between you and me is that I actually believe them.

Now, I am also quite sure you know many verses that you think refute this (we are saved by grace, not by works). The thing is, the bible does not contradict itself, ever. If the bible seems to contradict itself it doesn't, it is your understanding of the bible that is in contradiction.

My dear brother Jim so good to hear that straying people heeded your warnings and turned to Jesus, great you could be an instrument in God's hands there. I love it when people seek out those who don't know Him and God brings them around through their testimony. I'm sure our heavenly Father be proud of you here brother.

However the problem is you may have grown proud because now I reprimand you in the name of love and you scorn me and call me a servant from satan. See if you want to help people but you have no ears to hear and no eyes to see then you best get healed yourself first.

For on the fruit you recognize the tree and on this thread you have been producing some really smelly stuff but stubbornly refuse to acknowledge that.

In the meantime your callous and untrue words have chased people away not brought them to Christ.

For I beg you to understand that I understand why people on the bottom of their pits end up hating God and His truth, for I did as well. However not because I really did hate God but rather that idol I had been serving as God but was a loveless selfish monster without grace, mercy or forgiveness apart of when you pay his price, then he would sell you the land but when you make any wrong move then he comes around and chops your head off. You know that beast as well? Or haven't you bumped into him ever?

For if you don't know unconditional love then you don't know God, and you my dear brother can't even love lost people enough to help them out of their misery but pile on the fuel for the fires of hell instead. Shame on you for teaching judgment instead of mercy.

Now I say let us fist understand who God is. God is love! The is where we must begin. Pure love. To love means we have compassion on lost inners even while they are sinners, like our Heavenly Father and Brother are as well. We all know judgment rest on the sinner - so why would the O.T suffer so badly you think? Because she believes lies and doesn't know the truth, that is why. And you mindlessly enforcing the beast as god demanding she repent and serve that monster doesn't go down well with anyone who knows who the devil is. And you ought to know that satan plays god over the lives of those he deceives.

So me trying to tell people who God really is - unconditional - pure love - a consuming fire of awesomeness which is so holy that sinners eye cannot see Him. That is why they need us to tell and show them what love they are missing out on believing the lies they do. Why should telling people that God is love and not the beast ruling this world be wrong I ask?

So lets leave it at that. You said what you wanted to say. I said what I wanted to say. Let our Lord judge between us and have mercy on both of us and teach us His Ways. It is my daily prayer, so much to learn.

Please tell me my "untrue words" because you are calling me a liar. I have done nothing in my responses to the OP but try to help them understand. I understand I said things you would not of. You claiming I am proud for doing so is confusing to me.

Perhaps you, as many were, are offended by my bluntness, I can understand that, I can be quite blunt at times.

I am quite offended by many things you have said, calling me a liar (saying I am saying untrue words is the same as calling me a liar).

I think the biggest problem comes from our different theologied. I am taught in the bible thay salvation is an act of ongoing repentance. The majority of religions teach once saved always saved and so it is my feeling that the majority of the members here also feel that way. This means that I will always, always, try to point out things that can hurt ones salvation.

I do not claim you are unloving in trying to correct me on what you feel is correct.

There was a discussion that had started to develop between the OP and I that was broken off as everyone jumped on their high horse and started yelling. The comment "pity party" was directed to the ones naysaying me, not the OP.

How about this, next time you see a post where I respond to someone why don't you just keep your negative comments to yourself and see what develops?

I hope this thread will not be closed, but rather stickied to the the how not to treat depressed people examples. It is a classic example of religious conviction being destructive where everyone ends up a victim unless our love is stronger than religious judgment we cannot help those who are stuck down deep.

For crying out allowed why did God lay down His life for us miserable sinners when we can't even manage to die to our wrong ideals and refuse to help someone who is hurting hell but rather judge them for where they are stuck. Such a sad story really. It is happening all the time in many Christian Churches, not just my own and as we can see it is happening here.

I so hope and pray the OP will keep searching for true God and get rid of the monster she is stuck with at the moment.

My thought was for the @OP and others who were offended and that the person kept coming back which I thought was bringing the offended people more pain.

It is not that I think it should not be spoken about, but I just think that so many people do not understand mental illness and I don't like to see people judging those people, me even for that matter.

Depression is a day to day struggle for me, so seeing the new posts on the threads relives it for me each day. That is what i was worried about is more pain being caused.

I hope the hurt will stop as well, but often avoiding facing the pain can lead to infections and all kind of other terrible deceases in bad wounds, yet cleaning the wounds and putting ointment on it can heal them and leave the scars as a testimony of that, even if that hurts a bit at the time it is still a good exercise not a bad one. Think here also about giving birth. If the OP and/or others find benefit from this process then there is nothing wrong if this threads proceeds like that. However if more pain is being inflicted than already has then I agree with you and we best stop fast.
