I read His sayings and His commandments in the Gospels.Did he? How do you know that?
Since the Spirit is a genderless person, use of She is just as appropriate as is He.
When God speaks to me...my spirit...it is attention.
My thoughts are not even going till the message is over.
Studied the Bible with His help....still do. My calling was confirmed
a few weeks after God let me know it...and then later by strangers in different
states. He has healed my sight...both eyes...years back...warned me of danger several times...healed my blood...let me eat soybean oil again. He is
my Saviour, Lord, Abba and Best Friend.
In this world, the Spirit of God is active. But deception and lies are far more common, because many are called but few are chosen. This is because our enemy, the devil, roams about like a ravenous lion seeking to devour as many as he can and rob them by delusion of eternal Life. The Spirit of God is active in the life of everyone, be they Christian or not. Was she not active in your life before you became a Christian?
Thanks. There will be a rapture after the 7th trumpet sounds. The sixth seal will have been opened but not the 7th seal. Notice Rev. 15:1 with seven angels had to be seen by John before he saw Rev. 8:2 with...the seven angels. The trumpets actually sound in Rev. 7 and at the end of Rev. 15.

I usually use the OSB, which has a King James version of the New Testament. In your translation(s). Which one(s)?
Sure, we should expect this. But the Truth comes from the correct understanding of the Word of God that is in the Gospels and the Life of the Holy Church. A calling by the Holy Spirit does not immediately make one into a truth bearer who received direct communications from the voice of God. Only repentance unto God and faith in Jesus Christ, which leads by way of struggle to Live according to Christ's commandments, can lead to the degree of purity of heart enabling one to see God. Beginners who are still very much in bondage to the impure passions are easy prey for demons advanced by thousands of years in the art of spiritual deception. Many who are called by God quickly fall into delusion because of spiritual pride and vanity. That is why I have offered the above snippet. We see many cases of young men who were called, yet because they chose to accept a lie about their own worthiness to see visions and hear voices, even though they were still filled to the brim with nauseating pride and vanity, self-love and all manner of physical lusts and sensuality, have come to suffer horribly from debilitating mental and emotional health problems. There is one here on the forums right now who believes God selected him personally to become Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Now he suffers such terrible pain in his mind and soul that he cannot bear to live anymore, and seeks relief by taking his own life. Nobody has been able to help him, even after seven months in an asylum. Yet, he still won't admit that God did not select him to be Pope and is not punishing him with mental anguish due to his failure to go through with this "mission" from God.The Spirit of God is active. Good, we're agreed. We should expect, then, for her to speak to non Christians.

I don't wish to see any more cases like this. Hence my warning from St. Ignatius is posted here.
The one and only Truth is preserved in the very Church that Christ Himself built, upon the preaching of His Holy Apostles. That Church is still physically in the world and the Holy Spirit works to call many to join Her, even in these last days so close to the Lord's return. All of the other churches exist because of the invisible activity of evil spirits, and masterminded by the father of lies himself -- Satan. He it is who has deceived peoples through their own sinful passions of pride and conceit into schism and heresy, serving to obscure the Truth for so many, making things worse as time goes on. The Church is the ark of Noah, tossed about upon the violent seas of this demon and sin infested world of darkness and confusion. The Holy Spirit uses the Church as His vehicle for teaching what is needed for salvation unto Eternal Life. (1 Timothy 3:15)Do you know how many "correct" understandings there are? If you walked into every single church on earth, you would get a different understanding.
What is your Truth that you get from reading words in a book?
So you don't believe that the Holy Spirit of God can teach you everything he wants you to know?
1 John 2
27: but the anointing which you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in him.
The anointing is upon those who a Living the Truth within the Church. If all of those outside of the Church who believe they are being directly taught by the voice of the Holy Spirit of God are correct, then why are there such varying and contradictory beliefs coming from the same One Spirit? Isn't it more likely that the voices being heard are frequently from the destroyer of unity and the enemy of Christ and His Church?Do you know how many "correct" understandings there are? It is reported that a well-known Bible translator was approached by someone who felt that the translation he was working on should use feminine pronouns to refer to God. The translator asked if feminine pronouns should be used to refer to the devil as well: “Resist the devil and she will flee from you.” That rejoinder was not well-received.
