Oh man! Anyone who doesn't believe this is a sheeple.
You are bought and paid for by Soros or the Koch brothers, depending on who you hate more.
New world order and racism everywhere with cops shooting everyone.

Actually this is just a very good, street level photo journal of one of the nights of protests.

Seriously, it's pretty cool to see how these things REALLY played out.

I noticed the same cop in multiple photos...same protester too. It almost looks like a photo op. It doesn't look like a particularly bad scene though...a few messed up signs seems the worst of it.

Then again, I haven't been following this story a whole lot. What narrative is this supposed to counter?

All I really know about the story is that a black man got killed by a black cop. He was picking his kid up from school (maybe?) and he has family alleging that he didn't have a gun (though I don't know if they were there)...and the police are saying that he did have a gun (which was supposedly recovered from the scene). That's about all I know, other than the fact that there are recordings of the incident.

I guess the sensible thing to do would be to wait until the investigation was over to see what they conclude...but who does the sensible thing anymore? If the police haven't released any video of the incident...who can blame them at this point? It's not as if the public is suddenly going to become this cool-headed rational observer...nobody seems to even hesitate to jump to conclusions these days.

Let's send all cops to Hawaii a year or two. Problem solved.

Reading the descriptions sheds a bit of light into why those two people happen to be in the pictures. Essentially the cop guy was the "head guy in charge" and the black guy was just a random dude who stepped up to lead and did his part to make sure people didn't go stupid.

It wasn't meant to counter a narrative. I tried to take shots at both sides when I put that introductory blurp in. It was just meant to show what one night actually looked like on the street.

I heard a report on the radio news yesterday from the speaker of the house I think it was for NC. He said the majority of people arrested at these protests weren't even residents.

Hearkens back to those reports months ago about "professional" protesters being bused in to start trouble in certain areas.

Arrests records disagree:

The Observer reviewed CMPD arrest reports between midnight and 2 a.m. Thursday. There were 31 people arrested for failure to disperse, six people arrested for breaking and entering, one for assault on a government official; two for larceny after break-in; two for resisting an officer and disorderly conduct; and one arrest for larceny and injury to property.

  • Of those 42 people arrested, 32 live in Charlotte, according to their arrest records. The others mostly live nearby, in Albemarle, Gastonia, Greensboro and Raleigh.

Video & Charlotte Police: 70% Of Rioters Arrested Are Out Of State "Instigators"
Posted By Tim Hains
On Date September 23, 2016

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police spokesman Todd Walther told CNN's Erin Burnett Thursday night that 70% of those arrested in race riots in that city this week were not locals.

"This is not Charlotte that's out here," he said. "These are outside entities that are coming in and causing these problems. These are not protestors, these are criminals."

"I'm not saying all the people, but we've got the instigators that are coming in from the outside. They were coming in on buses from out of state. If you go back and look at some of the arrests that were made last night. I can about say probably 70% of those had out-of-state IDs. They're not coming from Charlotte."

He can say that but as the local papers investigation found he's incorrect.

They are called Agent Provocateurs. Their purpose is to subvert legitimate, usually peaceful movements by causing violence and distracting from the purpose of the movement.

He later admitted to making up numbers, not actually having reviewed the arrest reports.

A coworker mentioned Soros to me in connection with the Charlotte riots, guess what popped up in my first google search? He has been at this for a while:

"This is not Charlotte that's out here. These are outside entities that are coming in and causing these problems. These are not protestors, these are criminals."

"We've got the instigators that are coming in from the outside. They were coming in on buses from out of state. If you go back and look at some of the arrests that were made last night. Ok, this one was bad enough. Then there is this:

Mr. Soros spurred the Ferguson protest movement through years of funding and mobilizing groups across the U.S., according to interviews with key players and financial records reviewed by The Washington Times. (Who Is Behind The Riots? Charlotte Police Says 70% Of Arrested Protesters Had Out Of State IDs)
They ask Trump is he refuses the endorsement of David Duke and the KKK, of course he didn't even know Duke had endorsed him. Hilary Clinton should be asked if she approves of Soros inciting riots because he gave 7 million dollars to her campaign. Frankly I'm disgusted.

Two things I love:
1) The flimsy reasoning behind the Soros argument
2) The fact that I put those posts up to tease people and not as legitimate comments, and they are getting replies makes me giggle.

I think Soros is instigating riots through proxy civil unrest and the fact that you were not serious was evident and obvious in your OP. I just happened to be interested in the topic when I found it.

Ok. Well, I appreciate you recognized that! I still find the reasoning really flimsy.

Since when have facts made any difference?
