A new analysis of how the United States "vets" immigrants reveals that written visa and citizenship surveys ask if applicants are World War II Nazi veterans or sympathizers, but not members of ISIS, al Qaeda or other Islamic terror groups at war with America. More

He said that federal officials told him that the questions about terror group involvement are required by federal law, meaning that congressional action is needed to include modern-day threats in the written questions. More

However, detailed written questions are asked about Nazi cooperation, as are questions about whether applicants are drunks, polygamists, or Communists. One survey does single out Colombian terror organizations in the written questions, though they have never attacked inside the U.S. More

To be fair, ISIS tend to operate by getting some random unstable guy already living in the country to pledge allegiance.
In light of such, maybe they should ask anyone using public transport such questions too. Just to be safe.

Also, if anything, the Nazi questions should be removed, not have more silly questions added.
A system that can be defeated by ticking a box with "No" written next to it I doubt could be that effective...

"All right. You got me. I'm an ISIS soldier and I was coming to America to kill people. I'll just turn around and head back home...."

"Arrrgh! I was hoping they wouldn't ask!!!"

I don't often laugh out loud at something I read online, but the tacit suggestion that members of ISIS are decent enough to honestly answer direct questions if we'd just ask them - even as we so often see professed Catholics refuse to - had me rolling. Accidental self-condemnation is my favorite.

ISIS has attacked by coming into Western countries with the refugees. If it's an American who joins ISIS, it would be a radicalized Sunni Muslim. And they would most likely be first or second-generation from a Muslim country or a convert to Islam. Another red flag is if they travel to and from countries that Islamic terrorists typically go to for training.

I know "refugees" are the scary thing du jour, but when has ISIS attacked western countries via refugees?

Yes, I know they SAID they would. But a lot of people seem really desperate to believe them, despjte the absolute FACT that refugees are an absolutely TERRIBLE way to infiltrate operatives anywhere.

ISIS said they would infiltrate the refugee population, and then they did and attacked within Europe.

None of these say what you seem to think they say. Show me a quote from a credible source that shows any of the actual terrorist attacks in Europe have been carried out by refugees who were actually ISIS members who left Syria as such with that express intention, and I'll happily concede the point.
Seekingfreedom posted a CNN article above. And here's an example from one of the links that I already provided:

"The total includes two suspects who died in the Paris terror attacks, according to the report."
