• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I've been experiencing hair thinning.. Since April..i think its telogen effluvium

But I ve been having headaches, not too bad, body aches, some stomach pain...

Weakness, like a slight tingly numbness in arms and legs and now my hands.

I dont want to go to the hospital just to see nothings wrong and I racked up bills..

But I dont want this to get out of hard...im afraid to sleep.

One of the possible causes of hair thinning or hair loss is nutritional deficiencies. Let me explain how that happens. Every single cell, every tissue and every organ requires nutrients to function. When the nutrient supply becomes low the body will rob nutrients from non essential tissue such as hair, to supply essential tissue such as the tissues in your heart. So this is normally an early warning sign that either you are not getting enough nutrients from the diet or for some reason you are not absorbing the nutrients from the food or both. Specific nutrient deficiencies can cause headaches especially tension headaches and chronic headaches. So if I were you I would begin with looking at my diet and considering a comprehensive nutritional supplement.

Which side of your body is the numbness on?

Get to a Doctor! You don't want to rack up bills is something we all may understand. However, imagine the expense left to your loved ones if this is something dire. You ask non-physicians on a forum to diagnose your symptoms and help you to understand what is happening. When you can make an appointment with a physician, even a clinic, and get a real answer.

God be with you.

This could be a number of issues. Anemia(which is more common among females vs males), poor diet, lead poisoning, blood clots, etc. You need to be evaluated by a physician(should not require a hospital visit to get checked out by one) if you want to be properly diagnosed.
