Encouraging Bible Verses? Here we go.....

2 Corinthians 1:3-7 (NIV)
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. 6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7 And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

Deuteronomy 33:12 (NIV)
About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders."

Psalm 25: 12-14 (AMP)
Who is the man who fears the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with submissive wonder]? He will teach him [through His word] in the way he should choose.
13 His soul will dwell in prosperity and goodness,And his descendants will inherit the land.
14 The secret [of the wise counsel] of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning.

Joetta, I love your UserName. The Forum links says you were here yesterday. Excellent. That means you were able to read the encouraging Bible verses that were intended for your support.

Part of being a Believer is to stick around. Yeah, like now when it doesn't FEEL like what you want to do. Knowing that you are in turmoil from your own provided information. Knowing that you were on the forums yesterday and DIDN'T reply to your own discussion thread actually says volumes.

It's human nature to isolate in times of trouble.

Even WebMD agrees. Trap#1 Social Withdrawal.

Feelings aren't who you are. It's something you have. So come back to the discussion you started. Come back to the people who are made by God on the inside out to be Love as He is Love. Come on! I know you can do it. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Praying for ya, Honey.

Well I recently encountered a girl on Youtube who was mean to me, but I was very bold and I stood up to her and told her she needs to be punished for her cruelty. I am glad that I was raised with manners, to be nice to everyone.

We were told by both Peter and Jesus that life will not be easy for us. We will have turmoils but it in those difficult times that we should be thankful for it, because it means we are worthy to be persecuted the way Jesus was -- for our faith. Eventually it goes away; nothing is ever the same for very long, but we must endure through it. If you do not pray or read your Bible, I highly encourage it. That is the sure way of growing closer to the Lord and feeling His presence and comfort. Go to Him and have patience. We won't be delivered from our trials so soon, but we must trust in the Lord and stay firm.
