He's keeping me well occupied...and broke. Injections, vets fee's etc....but so worth it.

Just really initial expenses.

Initial set of injections, the another payment to get him on the 'jabs for life;' programme, then another payment for 'that' operation.

After this year it should be less expensive.

I'm not gonna be able to get to Army today but hope those who do have an amazing day.

Halfway through August, and that means only one thing. Annual Appeal is two weeks away

A month of hard work. Praying for good weather as hoping to get a lot of district done.

And so begins another week A long day today for me. Started work at 5am, and as soon as I finish at 5pm I'm off to the hall for a very important meeting.

Very shortly our Corps will be leaving the building we have been in for 128 years and begin a period of church sharing with a local Methodist church until we find a new building. Obviously this will be a huge upheaval for our Corps folk and tonight we will be talking it all through and attempting to alleviate as many of those concerns as possible.

Means I'll maybe get home about 9pm....long long day. So kettle going on and not gonna get cold all day

Well, once again September looms big on the horizon.
Once Annual Appeal is about to be upon us.
Envelopes have arrrived. Team sorted out. Dates and area identified.
Lets do this....

Morning Salvo's
Well first lot of Big Collection done. Out again on Tuesday to get more area covered. Need to get the envelopes out this weekend for that.

Bumped the band room thread, and, more importantly, the Mercy Seat place of prayer thread, to make them more visible and available.

Now we need to get people using this place again.

Sat at work. It's raining. CF resembles the Marie Celeste.

Such is life.
