The gorilla being came right up to their general area, the marmoset and supermarmoset couples came to meet him, and ask him who he was and what he did there.

The great being introduced himself as Natathan, and told them he had important advice to them as the newcomers, as he had been there a long time.

Natathan had their attention, and he then went on. "You think that what you were told means everything around you of this world is ideal for you, but that isn't the case. There are things about places that are around that would make great difficulty for you. And you were not told, but there will be more requirements from the same one, that will give you further difficulty."

The smaller primates looked at him, with wondering eyes, but nothing showing they were persuaded in anything. He still said, "Would you take your own offspring, who will be a link for you filling this world with more like you, and cut him off from living, as you do, in this world, with doing anything destructive to him for that? This is the sort of greater requirements that would be given to you. Is that such a one you would obey, serving, still?"

The marmosets and supermarmosets looked at Natathan with surprise. Father tribbel marmoset spoke, "Yahweh is our Maker, and promises blessings to us for always. We are not answering to one who will make any requirements such as that!"

"But you do! He demands all things for what is to happen in all worlds, and he has it all happen, even if you think such things as good or bad!" Natathan responded.

"That is not who we serve!" father tribbel marmoset answered, and mother tribbel marmoset and the supermarmosets showed agreement.

"It is who you are following obediently, though it isn't wise. He let the humans fall into destructiveness in their world, and left it cursed, while taking you out. You can make yourselves free from such a one!"

"We never serve that one such that you speak of, and we never will!" father tribbel marmoset shouted back.

A mighty wind appeared just then, and they looked up and beheld a great whirlwind that appeared nearby. And they saw high at the top how it glowed.

They heard the great voice then. "I am your Maker, I am Yahweh. I do all things that I see to do, regardless of whether you see any of such to be right or wrong, good or bad. I am the only Creator, it is still only me that you are to serve or obey, if you do otherwise, you seek to do only what you will to do, and you go then contrary to my will."

"You have already disowned him!" cried Natathan.

Father tribbel marmoset backed up without awareness. He then wept, seeing how there was an evil in what he said. The others with him looked on with dismay.

"I don't want to ever disown you Yahweh, I hate that I did so in what I said. I would do anything to be alright with you for the chance to be faithful to you in anything you say, regardless of what comes to my mind to think of it. Oh, have I lost that opportunity forever?!". Father tribbel marmoset buried his face in his hands.

Yahweh with his thunderous voice responded, "You and your mate are to travel over to the mountain of veins, over beyond the midst of that thick forest you see. There you will quickly see what there is left for you to do. Father and mother supermarmoset, you are to take these strings of ulval green algae right before you, and follow them at a long distance, that you would count at least to a hundred before coming to where they were at the start of that. At least that far apart, you are to mark where you are with a little piece of a string. You will all see how to be still in right relationship with me."

As he finished, they saw an arm of the great whirlwind take hold of Natathan, and he was suddenly cast in the furthest yonder, in the direction opposite to the mountain of veins, where they could see him no longer. "He will no longer swing to the high branches where you can still go. Though he may yet threaten, the threats will be limited to what you let him threaten," Yahweh told them.

The tribbel marmosets and the supermarmosets all saw that Natathan was misleading them, and there was no other but Yahweh who was Creator of them and all the other things that would ever be seen, and there was no other to serve and obey, and it should be with whatever he would say, and they needed that relationship with him that Yahweh spoke of. They each spoke saying they would do just as he had said, and the two supermarmosets looked at the stringy ulval green algae that were along a small rivulet running there right by them, and they each picked up a handful of them. They had an interesting smell, such that they might be eaten, but they did not do that, and they waited there with that vegetation while the two tribbel marmosets started off, going in the direction of the thick forest, to pass through it approaching the mountain of veins.

The supermarmosets were somewhat larger than the tribbel marmosets, with thicker limbs that would be stronger. Both of them felt in some sense protective of the tribbel marmosets, though they couldn't describe what it was they thought of for that.

The two tribbel marmosets were soon far enough ahead according to their count that the supermarmoset couple started after them, and they still kept count, remembering to leave a bit of the algal string at the well spaced intervals. What Yahweh was having them do with where they were going was a mystery. Still they wanted to do anything Yahweh would tell them.

The tribbel marmosets reached the thick forest, and there they scampered up the giant fruit trees growing among the other trees that were in close proximity to each other, it was with traveling from tree to tree that it would be easiest and fastest for them to go on, heading ultimately toward that mountain.

Once the supermarmoset couple came to the thick forest, they climbed up to go from branch to branch and had no difficulty with moving at the same quick pace as the tribbel marmosets. They remembered the wooded areas of the garden where they had been originally, here there were differences and still some similarity. The trees here were really closer together, and there was growth along the ground between them. There were some trees that seemed to be the same sort, but such as the giant fruit trees were different.

They spoke to each other little during this, except for comments about differences they saw in this forest, for they still kept count, and either of them would leave a small bit of the algal string, alternating between them, at the appropriate intervals, on some branch convenient for it. The brightness of it with some of that unique sun shining in through the forest top had the string left in sequence previously still in view.

The thick forest, though when they first saw it they saw it might have been forming a belt, turned out to be very wide, and they went on at great length. The two supermarmosets made note that though they saw fruit growing, of which they took on a few occasions, they hadn't seen anything like insects, which they understood would be associated with fruit trees, and eventually father supermarmoset mentioned it. They looked more carefully, but still didn't see any of such.

After traveling through the thick forest a great length, they saw the tribbel marmosets come down from branches to a sloping surface seen between the trees. They were then aware how the trees where they were grew from sloping ground as well. They continued on until they left the thick forest as well, and they found it was on the slope of this mountain. They saw the features around them. This was the mountain of veins.

("...good and getting better..." went the goblin liking the reads so far, then adding "...we live in trying times, where ours is to witness the evil therein lest we follow it by mistake...")

"...reading each post you do as always..." smiled the goblin still fighting the heat while working flat out too, relating "...I'm an approval junkie, just I treat work as an extension of my family, in that I hate seeing things untidy or undone or uncomfortable, no I have enough money if the money retains its value long enough, but work gives my life a purpose where otherwise there would be none I guess...", whereupon the goblin turned his mind to the news but couldn't see it as clearly as before, sighing"...just that when one borrows from the future we lives on borrowed time as it were, where history points to the end of each empire in turn doing some debasement of currency to pay off its debts, and where the moneygod simply temps them on by saying "I will lend you as much money as you can fabricate through your own devices, of course but it'll all be at the cost of your empire though, so choose wisely humans, not that you humans ever make that right choice thou"..."

"...well, orchids can turn into a pretty penny, or open doors for you in right places, simply one doesn't buy anything for six months, as that should be enough time for you to figure out both what propagates easily in your neck of the woods and what looks expensive too..." smiled the goblin who often borrowed work places to display his orchids, saying "...one trick is to take an orchid that is about to flower to someone one really wants to impress, while taking back an orchid in exchange that has near finished blooming, one which one then takes to somewhere else again letting it expire its blooms there while taking back from that second place an orchid that has already expired that might be ready for dividing, thus in effect one has given two orchids where in reality the number hasn't changed..." in fact, the goblin only needed glass containers and little clay pellet balls, of where the smaller those pellets were the better, neither of which though cost much and where most secondhand shops had beautiful glass containers, smiling "...six months and lots and lots of youtube videos later one is about ready to make oneself popular today with those around you now, oh and just avoid phalaenopsis orchids as they propagate too slowly to be worthwhile really...", in fact, the goblin's misspent hippy christian youth had been more into growing other stuff though come to think of it perhaps it hadn't been so misspent after all

"...I use jat's thread here as a benchmark, much as I do with two other forums too, though other than that I just post around alot..." mentioned the goblin who too felt that things would only get worse from here on in, adding "...war around the corner, I remember asking someone once not so much about the war itself but more precisely what it was like just before that world war started, where he said one could feel it coming, the instability of it all and an oppressive fear that wouldn't dare voice itself in the media...", thus truth had given way to silence at this point where to speak out was to be called a fear monger for voicing an obvious decline in one's living standards leading to an inevitable outcome, sighing "...you see, when they say nothing is when it's probably nothing then, ah but when they start denying the situation saying "look, see there's no elephant in the room, so instead here's an update on those transgender toilet issues" is when that war elephant is just there for all to see, why, because the west wants war now, where if not the alternative is just everyone seeing a well deserved financial collapse caused by servicing a debt that they themselves caused..."

From afar they had seen the mountain of veins pointed out to them, from there it had appeared that there were fine lines running down the mountain in a vein-like pattern. Here though they saw these raised ridges appearing as protruding veins. They and all the surface of this slope were apparently of rock, and there was no vegetation except for small growths on some of the rock in raised places.

The tribbel marmosets were continuing on up, so the two supermarmosets followed after them still, with tearing off bits of the algal string for leaving along the way.

The supermarmoset couple followed the two tribbel marmosets going up this unique mountain still, with the appearance there of great protruding veins, that stuck out from the mountain surface most of their height. At least they were great jumpers, for at places going up the apparent veins came together, and to continue going upward required them to go over those. They didn't see what was showing the tribbel marmosets what to do there, but once as they looked up they saw something most of the way up that was brilliantly shining under this world's sun. The tribbel marmosets were coming up to it. The supermarmosets followed, still leaving parts of the little bit of algal string they still had. The tribbel marmosets had stopped up there, and they caught up to see what it was that was appearing shiny there. It was a long narrow blade of clear gemstone, leaning upright against a vein of that mountain rock.

Father tribbel marmoset stood closest to this object, looking at it carefully. Just a little beyond there was a conspicuous growth on that rocky vein. Then a voice was heard. "Take the sharp blade of stone, and pierce that growth on the vein with full strength." They couldn't tell where the voice was from.

Father tribbel marmoset took hold of it, and with some awkwardness jumped up on that vein as he held it. When he was up stably on it he approached that growth. It resembled fine strings of the ulval green algae, but it was mixed with another color of the growth, making it the kind of life that grows on rock. Oddly the shape of it had extensions that made it look like an X. He held the gemstone blade securely, and as the voice had said to do with his legs spread widely he swung it down forcefully with the point aimed right at the center of the growth. Though all the vein, as the others, was showing a rocky surface, here there was a gap in that, a small hole there was covered with the tight layer of that growth. Father marmoset cut his hands with holding the blade while striking so hard, but when it was pierced, a jet of gas appeared from the hole that was revealed, escaping like a cloud from steam. The cloud from it grew over them, as they all stood bewildered.

"Take stones that are within that hole, each of you, so that twelve are taken." They looked up, and where that cloud dissipated, they saw a winged ape, flying above them. So they each went up to that hole, where the gas now came out slowly, and seeing the gemstones lying in the bottom of this space extending within this vein, they each took three, so that those stones within sight in that hole were all taken. Each of the gemstones, as wide as the tribbel marmosets' hands, were round, and flat. "Take the stones and continue to the top of this mountain."

They did so, while seeing how nice these gemstones appeared, and ideas about how they could be used in some ways as ornamentation came to them, but they were soon at the top. This is where the upper veins drew together at the peak, coming to a protruding mass at the top. They did not see at that place, but it was going to be noted later there were seven of these upper veins. The stony mass where they joined was projecting from the peak of the mountain, and a space on the side of it where the marmosets and supermarmosets came to was showing. They could see it left an opening in the top of the mountain that extended deeply within.

"Cast each of those stones directly into that opening," the winged ape directed.

The four each saw still how the gemstones were desirable for them, yet they were told by this being they knew was sent by Yahweh, whether having escaped out of the stony vein with the steamy gas or having flown here from somewhere else, and they understood they needed to obey. Father tribbel marmoset went up first and then his mate, with throwing what they had pulled out from the vein into that opening leading deep into the mountain. The two supermarmosets went forward to the opening and likewise threw what they had taken into it.

A strange rumbling noise was heard.

Father tribbel marmoset was then looking at his hands. The blood was still fresh from the cuts, and this was a completely new thing for him. He really didn't like the feeling he had.

The winged ape above them spoke. "Go to where you find the stringy ulval green algae, and wrap a bit on each hand over where the cuts are, they will help the hands be better soon. But with the hands now this way, you will have to walk with your feet along the ground on your way back now, you will also need to anticipate that it will be a much longer journey now."

With wondering and uncertainty the tribbel marmosets went back down, and as they came to one of the algal strings, father tribbel marmoset wrapped his left hand, and found that it adhered well. They came to another lower down. His mate helped him wrap that algal string around his right hand.

With father tribbel marmoset not using the hands for walking, the two supermarmosets saw he would go more slowly indeed through the thick forest, as would his mate who would continue with him. They still felt like they were responsible to follow after them and watch them. So they waited a good while right where they were. And father supermarmoset looked around for that flying winged ape, but that being was no longer to be seen anywhere here. He felt the loss of what he had cast into the opening still. As he looked about, he saw the long blade of clear gemstone, it was laying now on top of the vein of rock where father tribbel marmoset had left it. He approached it, wondering.

Hopping up to be on that vein, he came to the place where father tribbel marmoset stood to pierce the opening. He looked at the long sharp gemstone, thinking it might be useful for something, with having been just used the way it was, but he couldn't think of how it would be. It occurred to him that it was probably better to leave it there, as if there was a way to go through the thick forest with it. Perhaps it was meant still for being of use there. But then it occurred to him to look in that opening where the small gemstones were found and taken. He did so, though he did not see any more of those. There was still noticeable gas coming out from it, perhaps there was a great supply of that which ran through the stony veins, and maybe it was important for something. And he saw there was still all that growth with the stringy green algae in it surrounding the opened hole. He bent lower, to reach in and feel around, hoping somehow for the possibility that there was more of those small gemstones, which were attractive, and he knew that his arm had a longer reach than the others. Indeed, he did feel items that seemed to be those, in his reach. He pulled what he could to be in sight in there. This way, he saw six more of the round flat gemstones. Surely, he thought to himself, it wouldn't matter if he took those now, as their mission here was accomplished already. And there must be more within the vein anyway, as it seemed to him.

This supermarmoset who was to be the ancestral father to the supermarmosets that were to yet come had gathered those six gemstones that he had been able to find with reaching. He held them just a while, marveling at their attractive look, and thinking they could be used decoratively and be admired. So he then decided he could carry three of them back through the thick forest, his mate could carry the other three, while it would slow their movement from tree to tree, but that would matter little if they were going on watching the two tribbel marmosets, who were going along the ground through the thick forest, and would be going slower because of that. He called his mate over, to tell her they had these now that they could take back with them. He came down, and she saw what he held, and she took the three he held out to her, as he spoke of going down now to the thick forest with them.

"...I haven't been writing..." repeated the goblin, continuing "...yet whenever I do write it usually starts with this thread here then...", the hour was early now, the telephone in its hunger had beeped away till reluctantly the goblin had got out of bed and plugged it into the wall suspecting that those machines in the absence of their equivalent pets would take their place then, the difference was only in one's attitude really, so the telephone was fed now, soon he would ready himself for work going downstairs to cycle to work, ah but not before checking to see if his bicycle was ok too, smiling "...they don't have feelings so we're not supposed to feel for them yet we have feelings so we feel for them all the same..."
