I wanted to encourage the children of GOD to be "in" & "walk in the Spirit".
Whether we are saved and Spirit filled for 70 years or 1, the flesh is "warring against the Spirit" (Galatians 5:17) and the enemy is fighting, trying to distract us from doing spiritual things and being spiritually minded. (Romans 8:6)
How to get "in the Spirit". (these are a few I know of)
-Read the Word of GOD/meditate
-Pray/pray fervently/ pray and pour out your heart before GOD!
-Praise/worship the LORD.
-Fast
Benefits of being and walking "in the Spirit"
1.Power over the flesh and its sins. (we must put to death the sin in our life by this power Christ Jesus have given us. Acts 1:8)
(Galatians 5:16)
( Romans 8:13 )
2.You can experience the fruit of the Spirit in deeper measures!
( Galatians 5:22 )
3. You can please GOD and do His will and be led by the Spirit of GOD!
(Romans 8:8-9)

Word of warning to all Born again Spirit filled Saints, my brothers and sisters,
it is possible for a child of GOD who has believed on Christ Jesus and been adopted by the Spirit of GOD to fall away or go back to living after the flesh. (As some say "backsliding", as Demas did in 2 Timothy 4:10 ) We must learn to "be in" and "walk in" the Spirit as much as possible.
Children of GOD are going through a war on multiple levels. (Ephesians 6:10-18) Take special notice of verse 18.
The devil tries to distract EVERYONE from doing ANYTHING spiritual. Because if you were to yield your time to GOD, spending time with Him in prayer and reading of the Word of GOD/meditating and fasting, you would get into the Spirit and could be led by the Spirit and do something for GOD with power behind it! That is when you can really began to bear fruit, when you are in the Spirit. I think it may be hard to be led by the Spirit if you are in the flesh. (Romans 8:14)
To GOD only be all glory honor and praise for ever through Christ Jesus our Lord! Amen!
