Why should a theory destroy any of our spirituality?

Isnt our faith in Jesus grounded in Jesus?

To me Jesus has never been a set of rules or something, Jesus it the Living God.

So how can any theory destroy my faith in the Almighty?

In the same way that our diet will affect our physical health; our mental diet will affect our spiritual health.

Eat nothing but fries and donuts every day, and we’ll eventually begin to reap the results of our habits... Likewise, if we spend all our time watching conspiracy theories on YouTube, we'll soon enough you’ll notice that it won’t be as interesting to study the Bible as before.

To be blunt, conspiracy theories are “mental junk food”, and that’s why we should stay away from them.

Well, of course we should balance our interests. Spending all our time watching conspiracy theories could be a little bit strange as well.
I think its not a bad thing to know about certain theories at least to some degree. About ten years ago I was quite interested in them as well, later I lost interest completely. Conspiracy theories are not a substitue religion IMHO.

But you are right the stuff we feed our mind with will have some influence on us - sadly I can confirm that first hand. Still, I believe that if our faith is rooted in Christ, we will overcome. Spirituality is a journey - there is growth and change involved. Sometimes people are fascinated with something - with time, interest may change.

As a matter of fact its quite difficult to say what is good and what is not in regard to many things. Some people like sports - sports arent bad IMHO - but I believe they can, too, destroy spirituality. THere is simply no right or wrong in regard to many scenarios. Very often its up to the individual. The bible confirms that - people who are weak in faith eat only vegetables, right?
