We are blessed to be a blessing and not for gratifying our carnal fleshly desires{Gal 5:16}

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ
We are blessed with every spiritual blessing.
2 Cor 1:20 all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us
Why? It is for the purpose of glorifying God's Name on this earth.
Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matt 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
2 Cor 2:14 thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ

We are blessed in every way and guaranteed a victorious life in all circumstances.
Why?
It is not to indulge in selfish desires and satisfy our carnal selves.
Gal 5:16 Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
We are blessed so we are a blessing to others.
Promises are for us to meet all our needs living a wholesome life{John 10:10} for the purpose of equipping us so we establish God's kingdom on this earth and bringing many to His kingdom.

True. However, here, we are talking about the practical aspects of implementing such a faith.
The moment we believe, it doesn't happen immediately in the physical realm always.
Initially, there's a lot of disconnect between what we believe and what we manifest in the physical realm because our faith is not perfected. However, as we continue walking in faith as per the Spirit's promptings, eventually we respond with joy and peace.

Faith walk is an active one and not a passive one.
Yes. we rest in the finished the work of Christ on the Cross. But, this is an active faith walking in the Spirit.
Resting{believing} in the finished work of Christ does not mean I sit in my sofa in Cloud 9 and sip cool drink and I do nothing.
Many, who walk in faith, sadly ignore the physical manifestation totally and so people fail to recognize Christ in their lives.
True faith works. It definitely brings physical manifestation too so others can vividly see it.

The moment we believe, whatever we believe doesn't happen immediately in the physical realm always.
There's a lot of disconnect between what we believe and what we manifest in the physical realm because our faith is not perfected.
On paper, yes, Christ lives in us. We want Christ manifested 100%.
However, when we are in a situation where we are rubbed in the wrong way, irritation starts brewing in the heart.
Why? Because we have a flesh to deal with. It doesn't follow the faith 100% initially. For years, the flesh has gone in the opposite direction.
So, although we desire that Christ's love be manifested and we want to respond with joy and love towards the person who hurt us, realistically speaking, we do not respond that way. This is because 'The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak[Matt 26:41]'.
That's why we are exhorted to continually have our minds renewed '...be transformed by the renewing of your mind[Rom 12:2]'.
This does NOT mean our faith is not working and we need to start working with our flesh. No.
Sadly, many people abandon faith walk at this stage and start working it out in the flesh. Many even turn against such faith living.
Our faith is correct according to God's Word. Our physical manifestation will follow our faith gradually.
First time, it may not align 100%. But, as we continue in faith, our physical manifestation will start aligning with our faith gradually and eventually it will align fully. So, by and by, we will respond in love to the person who hurts us.
This is when our physical manifestation will be in alignment with our faith fully. Sometimes, it's quick, sometimes it takes quite a bit of time. It depends on how strong and perfect our faith is.
When our physical manifestation does not align with our faith, we need to get back to the Lord and ask why.
The Spirit of God will show us where the lacuna is and as we plug the holes in our faith and life, physical manifestation will also start aligning with our faith fully.
Probably, I should not have talked or done something to the other person in a provocative way myself and that's why the other person is doing things that hurt me. When I talk to the Lord, He will bring that to my remembrance{I may not have been conscious of what I did sometimes} and show me that I should correct my speech first and avoid talking in a provocative manner. And when I correct that, my faith will start working and physical manifestation will also start aligning with my faith.
More and more, I become unhurtable even when the other person tries to irritate me and I start responding with joy and maintain my peace even when someone tries to hurt me.

Was thinking of Daniel, when he entered the lion's den.
Lions must have wondered 'Oh! what a shock? We see a bigger lion here!' on seeing Daniel.
What an incredible man, Daniel was, having such a spiritual sap built in him!
And he walks out of the den and there an entire kingdom crumbles before him and acknowledges Daniel's God is God'
when King Darius said 'I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel'.

What a mighty testimony Daniel's life was for the living God!
Daniel truly carried out great exploits himself.

And when we look at Moses, the entire super power of those days, Egypt, trembles before him.

May the Lord raise in these days such mighty men and women of God, who carry out great exploits for God, through whom the world comes to it's knees and acknowledges Jesus Christ is Lord.
...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Often times, we see living by faith, trusting in the finished work of Christ on the Cross is more applied to material things like financial blessing, getting promotion in the job, miracles for healing etc.,
But, these are minor miracles that are only needed for our current life on the earth. These are puny miracles.

How about focusing on the major things in life like
having an incredible family life that reflects heaven on earth where
there's no bitterness,
no raising of voice,
thoroughly abolishing the irritation and anger,
no friction between husband and wife and between parents and children,
have the love of God established in the family where
everyone in the family is joyful in the Lord and serve the Lord as a team.

How about increasing in the area of personal discipline, character development to become more like Jesus,
passion for God and His kingdom, increasing in every attribute of the fruit of the Spirit -
love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control Gal 5:22-23

How about forgiving others easily like the way Joseph forgave?
Joseph not only forgave his brothers but was willing to provide for their children too.
Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? 20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. 21 Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones." And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them. Gen 50:19-21
What a spirit of Christ, we see in him!
Yes. True Love does not keep record of the wrongs. 1 Cor 13:5

How about having sexual purity in thought level life when it comes to looking at all women[save one's own wife] as sisters, mothers and daughters even if wife fails to give due credit for such a purity?

To walk in humility knowing that we have achieved nothing apart from His grace and giving all credit and glory to Jesus as He is the root cause of every goodness that is found in us.

Flesh & carnality refers to trusting in works to be blessed & saved. They have nothing to do with trusting in the promises opened by the works & death of Jesus.

Nudity can become sin ,only by the intention of the nudist and the observer.

Otherwise taking a shower would be a carnal act.

Lust created sin not Nudity.
The knowlage of good and evil also gave us the ability to choose good over evil.
As I have said before if you have a problem with how women dress ,quit trying to look at more than you should.

Jesus has provided the New and living way to live far above the carnality and the sinfulness of flesh.
You might want to explain more of your stand and the remedy Jesus provided to live far above the carnality of the flesh in detail.

Motivation should get motivated from us and not the other way round.
Fear should be afraid of us.
Worry should worry about us.
Discouragement should get discouraged on seeing us.
How nice if we walk at such levels? By default and not occasionally.
In Christ, we have the potential.

I wonder how many people would walk in victory,if every night they turned off the television and read God's Word?

I wonder how much closer families would be if they all set together at dinner,rather than in front of what ever media device suited them?

I wonder how many children would be better off by prayer than counseling and psychological meds?

I wonder how many marriages could be saved by praying together and trusting God for providing rather than both parents leaving the kids to fend for themselves?

We cannot tell what gender we are today let alone understand God's will for family life,we can't even figure out bathrooms for special people.

A strong man, and a wise woman will be victorious by walking with our Lord in every aspect of life by putting off the world and putting on the whole armor of God.

Bible has both law & grace. When reading bible without discerning between these there is no use as the fallen mind takes the law & leaves grace or at best takes grace & pollutes the mind again by taking law as well.

No act is carnal for those who trust that Jesus has set them free from moral law & has made them his own-rom7:1-4. Becz nudity was not carnal before adam chose the moral law (forbid'n fruit).

Sin was given life by the moral law-rom7:9.
Lust originates from moral law-rom7:5.
Knowledge of gud & evil (kge)comes from moral law(ml)rom3:20.
Kge does not help us do gud. It brought curse of death to mankind. But world lauds kge!!

Sin does not make man do anything man has free will God will not let you be tempted beyond what you stand with out a means for escape.

Man has freewill to choose grace or ml. But if man chooses ml then ml gives life to sin-rom7:9, which in turn enslaves man(rom6:14).
But under grace we have the power to fulfil the desires which he gives-Philip2:13.

Carnal fleshly desires? Were adam & eve carnal becz they were nude? Or is God carnal for creating them nude & for desiring for them not to trust in knowledge of gud & evil -kge, which is considered as necessary by the world & a great portion of the church?
