I don't know if anyone else can relate to this, and I didn't see perhaps the right part of the forum for it but do you find you hold on to your pain and are still upset with the person who caused it because you can't find a way for the pain to be put right.
This is how I feel about my Dad and his inability to function as a father or male role model at all, hiding behind his books and issues. Now I don't like going by where Mum and Dad live, still together, because it hurts too bad.
I think I will keep hold of the hurt till I can find someone I can put it right with.
