• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Um,, Many people will disagree. And before anyone asks I do not suggest this.

But I am going to tell you what cured mine. I don't know how I got them. But they were painful. If you don't know what a planters wart is, It is a wart that you can get on the very bottom of your foot, They attach to nerve endings and can cause every step you take to feel like painful shards of glass.

I went to doctors and tried several treatments, I was so desperate to make the pain stop that I even considered on more the one occasion cutting them out myself.. I did not want to wait for surgery.

Now, Before you consider my method, know that while I do possess a fairly high Iq. I am only telling my account and what worked for me,, This could be dangerous if done incorrectly.... Just being fair and truthful, I don't want people to repeat my actions, not knowing the source it came from.

If you have had problems with planters warts, you know you have shaved them, treated them with creams and medications. and while these treatments do help temporarily, they within a week hurt worse then ever.

Here is what cured mine completely. without surgery. I reasoned, Bleach kills anything...So when I shaved them down as was instructed by my doctor to apply the cream..

instead, I took a q tip and applied bleach. I did this once a week, and within a month I have zero planters warts..

Here is the thing.. Do not apply bleach to open wounds, bleach should never enter your blood stream.. This is why you do not just open that bad boy and poor bleach in it.. just shave the top layer and treat them with a q tip of bleach.. Do this only.. once a week... your feet absorb toxins, And you don't want to get this into your body.. Just the effected area..

this will within a month to two, cure your planters warts. without surgery..

Know that I did this as a last resort before surgery,, And it worked for me,,, However, I am only telling my account and what worked for me,, I am not suggesting you do this.

Bleach obviously did work for you, but you also introduced toxins into your body.

There are other, more natural, methods to deal with warts that are actually good for you, like essential oils, castor oil, MMS, DMSO with MMS or castor oil, fresh garlic juice, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide. I'm sure there are many others, including herbal teas, but you get the idea. If I were you, I wouldn't use chlorine bleach again if the warts returned. Thanks for sharing, though.
