What book are you reading at the moment?

The Good Nurse, by Charles Graeber. It's another true crime story about a nurse who kills his patients.

Fields of Honor: Pivotal Battles in the Civil War by Edwin C. Bearss. Bearss does a great job giving details about each battle often narrating the action in the present tense.

I like this thread It reminds me of all the fun reading you can do for entertainment. Those were the days!
Currently I'm reading curriculum documents and Guided Math Laney Sammons. Still really interesting, but I do crave a good fiction.

I'm reading the resolution for men book based off the movie courageous. It will def motivate men to become what God has called us to be.....leaders

"This is one of the oldest English service books around, and the translation is at times awkward, however, with this text, one has enough material to serve Vespers and Liturgy (or Typika) for Sundays and important feast days (though on most Sundays there would be lacking the material from the Menaion, but at least one would have the material from the Octoechos, Triodion, and Pentecostarion for Sundays. Even though, at this point, I have a relatively complete liturgical library, I still find myself referring to this text to help fill in those gaps that remain, or simply to compare its texts and rubrics with other texts. One advantage to this text, for those who do not have a liturgical Gospel or Epistle book is that it has the readings for Sundays and Feasts throughout the year (albeit in a sometimes less than ideal translation)." - review by Fr. It's quite a ponderous volume, but it has the EO propers for today (the Presentation of the Lord, or Candlemas, as my RC friends will know it).

I just started Conquerors: How Portugal seized the Indian Ocean and forged the First Global Empire by Roger Crowley. He is an excellent writer. I recommend his other books as well./ he has one on the Siege of Constantinople in 1453, another on the Siege of Malta and one on the history of Venice.

If I Can't Have You, by Gregg Olsen and Rebecca Morris. It's about the disappearance of Susan Powell and the murder/suicide of her husband Josh and the kids. Heartbreaking in so many ways.

Jennifer Weiner, All Fall Down. It's about a suburban mom who gets addicted to pain pills. Reviews are mixed but I found it quite fascinating and enthralling.
