Hey all. I have quite a difficult question I am hoping to get some great answers to.
How would a Christian gently and lovingly lead others who are remarried Christians away from their sin of adultery? According to Matthew 19:9, Jesus states that remarriage is adultery.
In Ezekiel, we are told that if we do not warn others to repent of their sin, their blood will be on our hands...
When I read this I feel responsible to tell these people that they are living in sin! Whether or not they are aware and disregard what Jesus has said, I still feel convicted of showing them the truth in the scriptures. How am I supposed to gently talk to these people to lead them away from their sin? There seems to be only one option and that is for them to get a divorce... But I don't want to see people in pain either! This is incredibly difficult for me and I am open to advice on how to handle this... Thank you.

7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. (Ezekiel 33:7-9)
