We want people to know the truth of God. There are negative consequences for believing in the trinity therefore out of love it is our duty as christians to spread the truth. Of course we love Jesus Christ and worship him. Not as the true God but as our savior. I don't think telling people the truth is harming their walk in the christian faith. If I believed Jesus was God and he wasn't, I would want to know that bit of information. When this trinity dogma is preached and has taken over the christian faith I have a problem with that because it is not true. Authority figures have put it in place not God. Something as important as the trinity would be in the bible clear as day if it were true. I have willingly answered every question thrown my way from trinitarians and have had no problem answering.

As the apostle paul said if I hurt you let it be for a little while. For the longer term gain is worth it.

Hi,

You talk about truth in scary terms, just like the JW's throw that term around, and the JW's use cult speak when talking to us, so we have no idea they are telling us the truth.

The JW's actual truth, as translated out of cult speak, is we know nothing about God. All we are doing is street performances house to house, where each of us plays the character Ezekiel.

If you don't believe us, why do you think we have changed our scripture so many times.

Yet, we hear them using your same words, truth a lot.

And they have your attitude, or at least the attitude of @stuart lawrence who does refuse to answer.

LOVE,

I have seen The Trinity. I deal with each member personally.

Each Member has personally talked to me.

I have said this, here in this thread, not because I wanted to, but because it is so.

No, Private Revelation is binding on anyone, but the person receiving it. That's me alone here, not you, nor anyone else.

I know you are not right, but I cannot prove that to you.

I know the majority of Christians are right, but I cannot prove that to them.

The only think that can be proved, is when this was submitted to God along with lots of things, including my marriage to Whom I am married to, God answered the Question put to Him, a test to see if this was God.

The other thing is I am not crazy. I have paperwork for the last part also.,

LOVE,

Those who know the truth and speak the truth. I am not a part of any particular denomination if thats what you want to know. I am simply a truth seeker who seeks the truth of God from his word.

Well I think we are all truth seekers to be fair. I would be inclined to doubt anyone on this forum would readily admit to "being in denial, and proud of it!"

Like I said if Jesus was God paul would not waste time saying he was full of deity. Or speak about the fullness of his deity. As I also said God is always full of his godly nature and if you are trying to say that christ has the fullness of deity and the fullness of man I need more than an ambiguous verse like that. To say christ is fully God and fully man is absurd to begin with. I hope this isn't what you are trying to say this verse proves.

Paul did state the following:

"in him all the fullness of deity dwells bodily"

Crystal clear.

Unambiguous.

Are you a Mormon?

in him all the fullness of deity dwells bodily means. What is the fullness of deity? What is bodily? The fullness of deity is is the spirit of God dwelling in you. Bodily is referring to the body of christ. Not his physical body but I'm sure you are aware we are the body of christ. So paul is saying that the spirit of God dwells in christian believers. Thats what that verse means. If you just read it without the whole context and understanding the phrases used then you will come to the conclusion oh he must be fully god and fully man.

Something like the trinity being true would be a huge trick God played on the jews. I know God does not play games.

How so? You don't see God increasing revelations in Holy Scriptures?

Taking your statement above would you think God was "tricking" the Jews by not sending a conquering Messiah in the first Advent?

Hi,

That was no vision. Remember the conditions put on prophets in Deuteronomy 18:20.

That was applied to me, for seeing God, it was in the test.

Remember what Gideon did, in asking God using a fleece, but asking God to do something if it was His Will?

That was applied to my test.

In thirty days, something would have to happen to me, otherwise That was not God.

That is much more than a vision, and I had no visions then. None.

LOVE,

I also want to say that Christs nature can be both divine and fully man. Yet that doesn't make him God. I want to be clear on that.

What then is the nature of Christ and our nature in relationship to Christ?

Incorrect. Nowhere is our relationship as mere mortal humans ever equated with Deity. Only Christ.

We too have a divine nature yet are men. The same as Christ. When God put Christ at his right hand we all became subject to Christ. So our relationship to him is one of service.

Your source of teaching is an individual who started a blog. You also use the Unitarian references.

I guess I was confused by your "Christian" tag in your profile.

Are they not christians? Do they not believe in romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

They like me are Christians whether you like it or not for we are saved.

There could be nothing more absurd than to think that to be a christian you have to believe in the trinity when the bible never says that. It says believe Jesus is lord and that with all your heart God raised him from the dead. Thats what scripture says. If men say believe in the trinity or you aren't saved who am I to believe?

So we have the holy spirit yet are not divine?

No we are not divine beings. We are filled with the Holy Spirit. We are not gods. Jesus is full Deity. Big difference.

Taking your stance to a logical conclusion, Jesus would have to be a demi-god or lesser god and therefore we would be a lesser god than Jesus. To be consistent of course.

Jhn 10:34
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Jhn 10:35
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

We are divine beings because we are holy beings because we have holy spirit. You keep using the word deity why not use God because the word deity is highly disputed. If you were to say God then I can go on to point out verses that prove there is one God.

1Co 8:5
For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

This is where the God with a lower g comes in. Which jesus is.
