Food Tool Friday: Grow Fresh Herbs & Veggies Indoors with a Tabletop Greenhouse

That seems like a good way to get something growing. Certainly is good for herbs.

I like rainbow carrots but can't get them here from what I see, so am planning to grow some when the rainy season comes.

I have a great recipe (though not with me) where you leave the skins on, trim the top and bottom, and then saute coriander seed, then add orange juice and the carrots and simmer til they are soft. Then add some maple syrup or brown sugar. There is more to it but the recipe is in a box at my place in Texas. I will be looking for it when I go there at the end of May.
Lots of people grow carrots here and I can usually get them cheap, so that is why I want to grow rainbow ones.
