A few days ago I had a nightmare concerning a possessed doll. it has been bothering me for a while. The dream took place in my home, everything where it is in real life. In the dream I was with a little boy and we had a robotic like doll, the doll began to resemble the little boy and we were both worried the doll was trying to take over the little boys life, we then tried getting rid of the doll because the doll was evil. It moved around and laughed when it was behind us and we were freaking out, we took it to my living room and threw it in the fire place, after it was burned the little boy got my box of playing cards and put the ashes in there with the cards also in the box, I went to my room to get my bottle of holy water and sprinkled the fire place, the box, myself, and the little boy. I have no idea what it means and it is troubling me. Please help, thank you.

I have had similar dreams about inanimate things becoming possessed and lifelike. In my experience, it goes hand in hand with a demonic presence near you or someone in your family or someone very close to you. Most of the time these dreams are a representation of a spiritual reality. If you trust Jesus and call on his name, you can tell those evil spirits and demons to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. The devil will flee if you resist evil temptations and keep your mind on God, like it says in James 4:7 - "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

I think it's a nightmare.
A lot of dreams have interpretations, but you know, unless from that dream you realize it's God telling you something, then it's just really a nightmare or a normal dream. They happen. I get a dream every night, once in a while it's a bad dream. I generally wont interpret them because I learned not to from experience. It's a big waste of time and why focus on nightmares? Focus on Christ who has delivered you from everything already.
Nightmares bug us even if they have no interpretation. We shouldn't generally go looking for one beyond, "Nightmares are from the devil, and God doesn't give them to us."
A nightmare can't dictate anything into your life, it's not allowed, if you do not allow it.

This is a demonic spirit speaking directly to you. It is trying to make you lose your faith. And it's something you hold dearly but you are clutching to evil.
The little boy is real, meaning he is worth your time, and he is a gift that will help you in ministry to others. The doll/demon is trying to confuse you about your ministry. You feel powerless over the demon. But God has given us His son who has a name above all names. You pray to Christ Jesus and believe in God's redemption and resurrection power. And He will get rid of this nuisance.
You can get rid of this without any sacrilege. Except you should pray. Don't play with this demonic evil thing any longer. It should be less interesting than a deck of cards to you. If it's a habit, get rid of it. Humble yourself to the Holy one and He will set you free. Get down on the floor and pray that God will replace your wicked thoughts with pure love.
