My name is Armen, from Armenia.
I became a born-again believer of Christ sometimes last year.
Prior to that I was wrapped about in the diverse doctrines of Mormonism (a sub-group of Freemasonry). But one day I was praying while reading Galatians, and the grace of God shed light on me and pulled me out of all the mess. I testify the Bible (the old and new testament) is the inspired and preserved Word of God, and that every word is pure, nothing to be added nor taken away. And that the King James Version is the closest inerrant translation of the original Hebrew and Greek. These days, to the glory of Christ, I enjoy defending Monotheism against Henotheism when someone perverts and misrepresents the Christian faith (Jehova's Witness' and the Watchtower Society / Mormons) and Trinitarianism against Unitarianism.

I also like discussing the Esoteric perspective on scriptures, rather the exoteric and obvious. Christ spake in many parables, as a matter of fact he spake all things in parables, and it is for us Christians to grasp his allegorical sayings. If any would like to share their mutual faith, don't hesitate to holler at me; I'd love to talk scripture and get to know any brother and sister in Christ.

Welcome! :clap: I don't know Armenia but this country seems beautiful, with wonderful landscapes. I liked your testimony.

Thank you; Shalom! :) I'm currently in the States right now. You're so lucky to be in France! Always wanted to visit!
Armenia is traditionally believed by many scholars to be the historical and probable location of the garden of Eden.
Also Noah's Ark landed on Mt. Ararat which is also in Armenia.
Plus in the Bible it's mentioned when Sennacherib king of Assyria was slain by his two sons Adrammelech and Sharezer, they fled to Armenia.

Isaiah 37:38
And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god,
that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword;
and they escaped into the land of Armenia:
and Esar–haddon his son reigned in his stead.

This is very interesting! I didn't know that! I read once for Armenia the garden of Eden but I didn't know the rest. I want to learn more about it now! I know which kind of book I will buy this week now! Thanks for telling me!

How cool! :astonished: Bonjour madame :cool:
although it's evening there you're 9 hours ahead of LA, where I'm at right now

I admire your thirst in knowledge and the fact that you read! Blessed are you; much respect.

Also, the recent attack in Paris Friday the 13th of November last year... i morn greatly for the people that lost their lives in that concert bombing. Truly devastating. But it is to my knowledge that the Islamic terrorists weren't involved, but rather America had something to do with it. (my opinion)

Anyways, pleasure to meet you dear :rose:

Hi; good to see you; God bless His Word to you. John's First Epistle (only 5 chapters but very intense) has many answers to the sort of questions that people ask.

Hello, thank you! Yes, one of my favorites!

My fav. passages are..
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed (Greek sperma) remaineth in him:
and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
- 1 John 3:9

But whoso keepeth his word,
in him verily is the love of God perfected:
hereby know we that we are in him.
- 1 John 2:5

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not.
- 1 John 5:18

THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD!!! #parable

#transmutation
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ!

Are you still a KJV enthusiast.

That's the one for the english speaking world, the new ones are perverted. In order for a new version to come out each time, it has to be 10%e different from every other book. A lot of changes must take place for plagiarism not to occur so they can copyright it and make $. The kjv is the only public domain. I also read the Armenian translation. What's your next question? I already know your intent for commenting here

The KJV is the only translation I use. This is because it has the least opposite connotations than the current english version's have.

I'm with you. The new ones are so way off. Changing meanings to fit their agenda.. bit deceitful if you'd ask me. Verses missing words changed..

Every word of God is pure! Man doe not live by bread alone, but by every word of God! The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times...
interestingly enough, the king james version was the seventh purification of the english protestant translation

1 Tyndale
2 COverdale
3. matthew bible
4. great bible
5. geneva
6. bishops
7. king james 1611

another interesting 7 times purification... the translators of the king james were devises in 6 commities.. each verse would be checked and reproofed by each group then passes to king james for the last speculation and approval.

when all done and complete i think it was kept with francis bacon for a year to add the Shakespearean dialect to it.

I use blueletterbible.com to check every word with the greek and hebrew strongs concordance
