How do I myself witness to the church?

I am wondering this, for there is much going on in the church.

To me, I would like to witness to the professing body of Christ. I realize that there are individuals who are not really born again in the church. I even wanted to go to another church. They had about 8 or 9 pastors in the last 30 years, ever since I was a kid. There was a pastor who even got beat down within the confines of the church. Nowadays, there has been no controversy, so that is good. I realize that one of them just up and left. It wasn't a religious thing to do, but I also heard that he would have been kicked out anyways. So I believe that some of the worst sinners are professing Christians.
