Normally I don't like to ask for prayer, as I believe what happens in my family isn't anyone's business. Maybe God thinks that's prideful? I don't know. What I do know is that everyone is under a lot of stress right now.
- We're going on our third year of unemployment, with no job opportunities in sight. Every time we turn around there is money spent. Not only do we need to pay our bills, we have things in need of repair and livestock to feed.
- My horse has lost condition due to the sub-zero temperatures, and is dangerously underweight. I'm feeding him all that he'll eat, but I'm still scared that I might lose him.
- Dad is an firm atheist, which obviously creates some conflict in a Christian family. My biggest fear in life is that he'll never realize the love of Jesus, and thus won't be saved. I can't go through life knowing that I won't see him again if he doesn't.
