Because some posters have been noted over a long period of time for being unwilling to rationally discuss Scripture you are blocked from being able to discuss God's word. While there may be places to vent contempt for Scripture and/or Christians who believe Scripture, and blasphemy etc .. this is not one of those places. Thank you. Happy repenting...

No, it wasn't a surprise. The scriptures in Exodus tell you that prior to arriving God hardened Pharoah's heart. You'll find that in Exodus 9:12. But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not listen to them, just as the LORD had predicted to Moses.
Do you know why Moses hardened Pharaoh's heart so that the ten plagues would impact Egypt and the innocent people under Pharaoh's control?

Here is one example of Jesus talking to folks who pretended they were about God's word..
Joh 8:44 -Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts father ye will do. He was a murderer from thebeginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Right, and that means that he made his choice already and reached the next stage of things. The bible is a great book, we don't have to depend on one area alone to get the way God operates.
Innocent? I doubt that. Nations share some guilt when they are wicked.

My point I guess is , if you're suppose to live the example of Christ and your behavior in the name of Christ as one who calls themselves Christians indicates, and this then lends a personal testimony of the faith in practice, how do you think it looks if you downgrade people and use ad hom's in your conversations with non-believers?
God hardened Pharaoh's heart so that he could challenge the ten God's and Goddesses of the Egyptian pantheon to stop the ten plagues he delivered.
And this to show Pharaoh that I Am was the only real God. One that delivered suffering and also took it away.
And yet the Jews in bondage in Egypt believed in Jehovah God. And all citizens under Pharaoh's control suffered the trials that Jehovah God laid on the land even when they had naught to do with the test Pharaoh was going through. And that would include in that suffering the Jews.
God even killed the first born of every house in Egypt that didn't have lambs blood on the door so that the angel of death would pass by. The first born were innocent. But they died anyway. Even those Jews who failed to paint their doors with that blood lost children.
Why would a pro-life God kill first born children when he hardened Pharaoh's heart to not comply with his demand through Moses to let the Hebrew people go in the first place?

You have decided that the whole Tribulation period is the wrath of God.
Use any dictionary or biblical definition and check for the word -tribulation- and for the word -wrath- and you will notice that they are not synonymous.
Moses and his people were living in the same land that the Egyptians and they were protected during the plagues .They were PROTECTED but not removed to Heaven while God have poured out His wrath against the Egyptians.
Your idea that Jesus will come before the Tribulation to take His believers out of the Earth to Heaven before the Tribulation is not found anywhere in the Bible,this is a man made invention.
There is only 2 coming of Jesus mentioned in the whole Bible.
-Jesus First Coming was 2,000 years ago
-Jesus Second Coming will be after the tribulation.
Jesus speaking about His Second Coming.

An ignostic is concerned about how believers look now? Yeah right. I tend to address the issues not the people. An exception may be where some get off trying to insult Christians or Jesus or the word of God. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world, and greater is truth than lies. It's about time that was made real clear.

Doesn't matter. We do not go through the wrath so if the wrath is even just the end part we do not go through that. The thing is that cannot fit your doctrine because you have us going through it!

There is sufficient archaeological evidence for the Exodus. There is overwhelming evidence for the Historical accuracy of the Bible. A lot of evolutionary science has benefited from the evidence that has been gathered to support Creationism and the Bible. Most of science today is based on the Greeks. The Bible has much deeper roots. Moses was an Egyptian and Abraham a Chaldean and they both had the very best education in Science that anyone could receive in their day.

These debates are not worth their high cost. The power of God is in love, humility and kindness. Its not in debate. The apostle paul taught us to put away debate. There is no theory, there is only agreement. There is no science and politics, only love and brotherhood.
I am looked at as a fool because i don't trust scientific theories. However its more than distrust which compels me. The Word has said that debate is not spiritual. Please get away from this mess brethren.

THis debate is a snare. Politics, religion and science are riddled with snares. These things are altogether worthless. Let the world argue about science. Let it love them and be their helper. Let us love each other instead. That's the gospel.
