HolySprit+ClearConscience=Salvation
We always have to be ready for heaven. By that I mean to always have clear conscience and faith that we are saved as a result of the Atonement, by which Jesus has already atoned for all our sin (1 John 2:2; Hebrews 9:12), i.e. for everything that can make us go to hell (James 1:15). Bad conscience/neglected guilt ruins faith/burns a hole in our wine-skin, causing the Spirit/Grace to spill out (1 Timothy 1:19), and us to loose salvation (Spirit is salvation because Spirit is Eternal Life, John 6:63, and see John 5:24), because faith is the criteria for our salvation by the presence of Grace inside us (Ephesians 2:8-9).What would you do?
What if you didn't know?
Since my friend's passing I have been thinking about this lately and wondered if anyone might have thought the same thing when someone dear to you makes departure for Paradise.
If we do willful sin though, God may withhold faith in the Atonement for us (Hebrews 10:26), and we may not feel saved anymore, though we try to continue to believe in the Atonement. In such case we should try to repent first, or if we are too bound by sin, to plead with God to give us faith nevertheless, because commandment is for man and not man for commandment (Sabbath is a commandment, and see Mark 2:27). We can also just not judge ourselves for the guilt we get, and our conscience will not be spoiled, because it is written "do not judge and you shall not be judged", and because we are to do to others as to self (which means so we can avoid judging self too).
If I knew I was sick and dying though, I would fall before the Lord and pray and seek healing until I got it. I would also send a prayer request for an online healing service like this one, for example, which is tomorrow evening, American time: www.oralroberts.com/live-service
