Popes can have opinions that aren't in any way binding on Catholics. Pope Benedict didn't like Rock & Roll, for example. Pope Francis is quite famous for making off the cuff remarks that get him in trouble for their seeming vagueness or ability to be misinterpreted. But when he issues bulls, encyclicals, or apostolic exhortations, that's when he is exercising his teaching authority.

You are correct. A Catholic can believe in evolution in good conscious. Or not believe in it. With vaccines, they need to consider the common good as well as the moral problems associated with certain vaccines, when making their decision.

That's a really great school. I might apply there. I like the campus a lot. He got his degree in business & he's been really successful. He wears his class ring. Lots of Hoosier pride.
