There was never a time when the majority of mankind (let alone all of mankind) spoke Hebrew.
Really? You don't think Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel and Seth all spoke Hebrew?

Do you believe that the Easter Bunny speaks English? No, I don't believe that mythological characters spoke Hebrew.

My wife is 1/4th easter bunny, and able to speak English, so that stereotype is offensive to me.
I'm 2/3 Herculean, 1/6 Heran and 1/6 Ishtarte. My Ishtarte background is very close to Easter Bunny, so I'm free to make those kinds of statements. I can't be anti-EB, since I've got it in my own blood. ;)

So much strange stuff going one. Rosh Hashanah ends on Sept 15th, (2015) the last blowing of the trumpets?

The last trump?

What do you think? (posted on July 25, 2015)
There is reason to believe that six of the Lord's Feasts have already been fulfilled. One reason is that in order to celebrate these Jewish Feasts there needs to be a High Priest and Temple. So, it's possible six of these Feasts had already been fulfilled while Yeshua was on earth.
  • Immanuel (G-d with us) was born duriing Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets)
  • Yeshua, the Lamb of G-d, became an atonement for the sins of Israel and all mankind (Yom Kippur)
  • It was always Yeshua's intent to tabernacle (Feast of Sukkot) with Israel, but He was rejected.
The Feast of Sukkot was prolonged until the Lord G-d sets up His Kingdom on earth. With this chronology of events the true Jewish New Year, under the New Covenant would seemingly begin in the fall. This year (2016) Sukkot begins during a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse, on Shabbat ... September 16-17 (sundown to sundown).

The Feast of Sukkot, the seventh Feast of Tabernacles was delayed ... (possibly why it isn't referred to as Yom Sukkot ?).

Matthew 26:38-39
38 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

Luke 22:43-44
43 Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
44 And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

<snip>

I also checked and this exercise which involves being around civilians is set to start today and end on Sept 15.

I find it interesting that people often make these "so many signs, so little time left" posts, and the time that they fix for the unprecedented events comes and goes - and no one ever pulls up the old threads to say "aha! look! nothing happened!" How may times will portent-readers not get called out on their end-of-the-world threads? Sept 15, 2015, came and went with nothing of significance taking place. Where is the last trumpet? Where is the "strange stuff" said to be on the doorsteps? The world is still here...

Wonder if the name (Trump, not Donald) of one of the "stranger" Presidential contenders is somehow prophetic ? ;)

Do you want to be the one who starts it? I can write in ancient Hebrew, if you're up for it.

AbbaLove,

I've written a sentence in ancient Hebrew for you. Got any idea what it says?

Looks like Phoenician to me…
Hebrew used the Phoenician alphabet. These are Hebrew words. For example, look at the tunnel inscription made by Hezekiah. The specific letter forms that I used above are from Moabite (the Mesha Stele). The two languages were virtually identical and used the same alphabet. The tunnel inscription is seen below.

I wonder if when Yeshua came the first time, there were those who were going "aha Look!!! nothing happened!"... He died.. big deal .. so have millions others just like him... the land is full of crosses... what makes this any different?

Let us assume for the sake of What If that Hebrew was still a written language used among the Israelites during and at least 70 years after the time of Yeshua.

If the entire Ketuvei HaShalichim (the Apostolic Writings, commonly known as the NT) was originally written in Hebrew and a few extant copies still existed to this day would you be any more inclined to believe that Yeshua was indeed the Messiah spoken of in the Hebrew Bible.

It might have been what they said - if they even noticed. As far as the secular world is concerned, nothing happened. No one noticed anything.

No. It doesn't matter to me what language it was written in. Do you think that everything written in Hebrew is true? Do you know that we have fairy tales in Hebrew?

Chinese was used at that time, so should we then assume that the NT writings were written in Chinese? The fact that some people at the time of the writing of the NT were speaking Hebrew indicates nothing regarding the original language of the texts.

First of all, what is a "god" ?
The Hebrew term Elohim and the Greek term Theos both have a wide range of meaning. The Bible frequently uses Elohim to refer to angels.

Secondly:

If the Bible said Satan is the god of Egypt, would you dispute that?

Sure, the Egyptians would disagree, but the idea is that their false gods equate to evil spirits masquerading as their gods, and the leader of these evil spirits is called Hasatan.

The TNK often uses the terms Egypt and Babylon to represent "evil world systems", just as Paul in the NT uses "the World". Hence Satan being called the King of Babylon in Isaiah is completely equivalent to calling him the god of the world.

True! As we constitute the many members of the Son of Adam's body, and thus are the (collective) Son of Adam-Mankind, so too do all of the Sons of Elohym constitute the many members of the Son of Elohym, thus We are also Elohym.

There is Man, and there is Elohym, there is the World, and there is the Kingdom, those who do not know Elohym, nor believe (neither rely on) His report live in the World, but We who believe, live in the Kingdom, for in Him we move, live, and have our being.
