Jason, that is a flat-out lie. No one here has stated that. You have accused this over and over and over and despite being corrected mu,ltiple times, you persist in bearing false witness about it. Every time you do so, you remove yourself that much farther from your "goal" of "sinless perfection". In fact, in doing so, you are involved in willful and persistent sin. The very kind of sin you are so critical of, and assume your opponents are engaged in continually. Remember what Jesus said about removing the beam from your own eye before attempting to remove the speck from your brothers' eye?. That applies to you in this instance, as though that Scripture was written and recorded just for you.
Stop with the false accusations, bearing false witness, and outright sinning against your brethren. Your theology needs to be re-thought, because you've gotten some parts of it horribly and fatally wrong.
I am not making false accusations. You believe contrary to the teaching on God's Word that a believer can stop sinning.
1 Peter 4:1 says, they that suffered in the flesh have ceased (stopped) from sin.
Galatians 5:24 says, they that are Christ's have crucified the affections and lusts.
David said he hid His Word (i.e. God's Word) within his heart so that he may not sin against Him (
Psalm 119:11).
Jesus said to two people to "sin no more." (
John 5:14) (
John 8:11).
In fact, Jesus said to the man he healed in
John 5, to:"sin no more, unless a worse thing comes upon you." If you were to talk to this man who was healed, do you think you could convince him to sin and still be saved? If so, how would he not be violating Jesus's command here?
Jesus said, be ye perfect as the Heavenly Father is perfect (
Matthew 5:48). The Father is perfect because he is holy and sinless.
Jesus said, "Blessed
are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." (
Matthew 5:8).
"Follow ... holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" (
Hebrews 12:14).
Romans 6:14 says, "sin shall not have dominion over you." Does sin have dominion over a believer if they are enslaved to it?
Jesus says he that sins is a slave to sin (
John 8:34).
1 Corinthians 10:13, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God
is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear
it."
Jesus said, "with God all things are possible." (
Matthew 19:26). This would obviously include overcoming sin.
The 144,000 is also a future testimony to believers who are completely dedicated to God and were found without fault before the throne of God (Revelation 14:4-5). These believers will live here upon this Earth. So if it is possible for them, then it is possible for you, too.
So if you are against the teaching of holiness and in refusing to stop in your sin like the Bible clearly teaches, then you are making an excuse to sin. There is no other excuse.
