I understand all too well about small spaces, I also understand big places get so crowded too lol I always had that situation. And I don't usually enjoy clean up after leaving the mess for too long. I usually clean up before a project and try real hard to tidy up but for some crazy reason with crafts it doesn't really happen. May-be little outdoor storage tool box. They aren't too costly and can hold even garden stuff . Then again one may keep buying those storage boxes lol... I think I was cleaning more then designing ! I had a 2 and 1/2 car garage at one point and it was a chore to keep it in order...LORD knows I made much effort ...those days are gone..so I just grin and bear lack of space..maybe Turn up some encouraging Jeremy Camp songs and build up some shelving along any free wall lol . I hung those peg boards along 1/2 my garage walls and bought those hanger inserts from a Biglots closing sale and I was set until I had to share.. Cleanup, actually it can be rewarding once it is done, it's starting that is the hardest I think... Just think of the projects and pray for angels to come help ...I use to pretend angels were helping, things went fast then...Whatever works I say lol. Maybe make a stand with hooks for tools ..I made a box with no sides just 2x4 planks 4 feet tall 3 feet wide 2 feet deep and stored garden tools. It had a floor but no walls just a frame and put hooks on the outside for smaller tools..it was worked well. Saved me room..Im thinking something like that may work or even a T shape being your tools are smaller..with hooks or even large nails ...hum I wonder if you can make tools with a circle on the end so you can hang them...Thinking again lol

I have storage boxes, tool boxes, and containers, but where do i store them? lol I have seen cool storage solutions, but for me having the tool stored in the open is the best way. I dont like to bury things in containers.

I was not thinking tools in containers for your designing, I was thinking woods and/or steel pieces to be stored in the mini shed 5 X 3 by 4 ft tall ...Buried tools = no fun..Understood and agreed. That is why I shared my frame idea... Tools can be at your fingertips... Did you understand how I made that stand frame and used the outside for all the smaller tools, hand tools hanging right there, arms reach. Also the T frame or even a TT frame or HHH frame, I thought may be found useful for your tools. Store only materials not used for the project... Hanging on the wall best option...peg board and hang them up.. I even made room dividers and hung tools and small supplies on them, all three sides and the thing rotated...you will know once you start to clear it out and situate stuff to get easy access... humm I do have more ideas but...

Yes thank you Witness. Im not familiar with the frames you mention, but i understand the pegboard idea. I do need much better tool storage. Right now im thinking about a tool rack that can be placed on the back of the workbench. I could just pick up tools when they are in the way, and quickly put them in this tool rack. My tools wouldn't get buried and they would not be in my way on the bench either. I just now came up with this idea, It sounds like it might work for me.

Im thinking something like this, only it would be shorter and made for small hand tools, on the bench, instead of garden tools. I could built one of these across the whole back of my workbench. I would have enough tool storage and it would be convenient.

God is Just too Darling ... He is too funny.. remarkable, that is the same idea I made lol...
What made you think of that and how did you get a pic so quickly?
Only that one is way too nicer looking then mine lol.
The frame I'm talking about could be a frame for what you have here.. posted..
Yours is way better on some points, really.
I knew someone had a way of storing tools that was tidy and a tight fit for tools .Wow..
Thank-you for sharing that pic.. just amazing...

Same idea I had ... Funny... I did add planks across (instead of those wholes) to keep tools organized according to the usage..some were only used a few times per season like the pitchfork...On the frame in the front I had hooks that held smaller tools that had special purpose. I guess we were on the same thought wave lol

Did you make a plan to do list so you can organize and set up so you can make fun stuff?

If you hadn't made plans, did you make a plan as to when you were going to make official plans? Getting started is the hardest part but once started, then motivation kicks in and excitement... once you see progress then forward is the way... I't hard when there is nobody interested as you are in these things but...you are not alone here cause I am interested in seeing stuff you make! So let me know when a plan to make a plan has kicked in ...

I personally try to make everything a fun project and think of someone or a group to get motivated, a reason "why I should do something"..then I think because I can, not a good motivation starter !
I need to add...because it is enjoyable to do and just hangout with my Daddy>God ,showing Him I appreciate the talents gifts and abilities He so freely gives me. Which has to be my motivation because frankly nobody but Him seems to really share my enthusiasm in anything I can do...
I'm waiting to see some of your projects...:)

I share you enthusiasm Witness2016. I see your point about a group being a motivating factor. I guess i been using the winter cold as an excuse, and so i hang out online and talk to Christians about things instead, like you for example. :) Hang in there Witness, i'll get around to working sooner or later.

I'm going to do some indoor crafts .. sitting isn't my personality lol Winter here in the South will pass soon enough Zone 5 was terrible never had fall so living down here in my own place is different to me. I made a few friends that claim they have the same passions but they think they do lol they don't know the answer to the 1st set of knowledge needed to do my passion efficiently so I just smile. I haven't yet met many if any that get so into stuff (projects) as I do, I tend to go many extra miles in detail to get the absolute best results. To most it is a like to do ; not a passion to excel in doing.. Lost my job because my manager was intimidated by my natural work ethics. He told all to pretend they are working I told him my heart won't let me, I work for God, he flipped with that one lol He told me go home and give me your swipe card LOL ..I told him I forgive him but he is still accountable to my God.Which knows even the intent in your heart, I suppose that was an ouch for him but nobody ever said the truth didn't hurt.
He was not a lit bulb and hadn't a clue as to how to manage anything. He used me last year to train /teach him although he didn't really listen like most. I suppose one will show who they are when they have a label of Leadership as scripture teaches pride then fall,
Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Proverbs 15:32He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
Proverbs 18:7A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.
and that he did 2 weeks later. I suppose his feathers were too flexed for many of my ex fellow workers.. He thought he was a peacock and GOD plucked his feathers..really he walked as if he was George Jefferson lol
I don't mind cause I was just being who I am before my God, he lost every way.Now for a new job or unemployment which they are trying to block. I didn't sin against anyone so God is with me! Going as led doing as I know to do.
it is so Delightful doing right and not getting weary...Do something! I want to see lol !

Even if you did sin, all you would need to do is humble yourself before God and move forward. I have done that many times, its hard but it seems rewarding. I have lost control many times and said and did things i regretted. Gods grace is amazing however, and its why i love Him.

I did manage to go out and look at the forge, does that count? lol There is alot of snow on the ground and i have a problem with the forge blower. Last time i used it i melted the plastic hose i was using to hook the blower up to the forge. I knew it was only a temporary arrangement anyway. I need to purchase a piece of flexible metal tubing, or an adapter, or something. I cant work on my porch either (that's my indoor work area). nor can i even work on organizing it. Its just too cluttered and there is no way im going to get that mess organized right now. I need to get rid of some things i think, and that's just not possible right now. I hit a road block in my hobbies, and i'll just need to patient and wait till i can get things ready.
