Oh but this wrinkle tells another story. :destroyed:

Blessed are those that reach such an age. My friend was not and passed away at age 32. Makes me wonder how much time I have left... which brings me to make a thread.

WOOOO HOOOO!! :hoho: Free food!

Is it truly a wrinkle or is it just excess beauty? :p

I know when Im covered in wrinkles thats what mine will be..... just excess awesome that my body doesn't know what to do with anymore. :D
Well somewhat free. I will charge you with bringing up the giant tub of flour. It's so heavy! I always appreciate a strong hand. :)

And that is the best description of what a wrinkle is. I mean, mine is probably just a wrinkle. But still in future I'm' using that!

Swan I am very sorry to hear about your friend, it sounds as though it has really made you think. And you are right. What a positive and humbling view.

OMM: Day one without soda.... I caved.... :(

Poor little fellers didn't stand a chance....

I went to check my mail and there is a soda machine there.

I bought 3 dr peppers. I finished 2 off before the 3rd even had a chance to sweat. :sorry:

Good thing I got in my required daily water blah blah blah intake.

I also think that Im going to skip lemon time water and orange water after I use the ones I bought.

Its a pain to cut all those oranges and according to what I saw online, you shouldn't insue water with fruits that have "rinds" for over 4 hours because it makes it bitter..... so I infused the lemon limes for 3 hours.

I think I will just go for watermelons and call it a day.

Slice one open, cut chunks out and BAM no rinds, no pain in the booty cutting 6 oranges or 3 lemons and 3 limes. for a pitcher. :|

Doesnt taste bad though.... if this had some caffeine in it.... it would be livable.... at least for a time.

Its definitely better than plain water.

(Since these things are so over priced, but I wanted to be able to remove the stuff being infused from the water....... I bought a special pitcher and several pitchers for the fridge.)

I infuse the water, pour it into another pitcher and then infuse another batch, now in the infuser.... oranges. Its supposed to taste like orange juice, without all the sugars.

If I "perfect" those before I am done with the ones I have, then I think I will look into an orange, lemon and lime peeler. :D
I think berries might work better than citrus for infused water. Personally I'd rather make juice with the fruit than to infuse water with it. But I've tasted some pretty good berry infused water my friend made.

I'm having Mac & Cheese for dinner.

@RayofSun a wrinkle?! I've started to have wrinkles on my forehead. They were not there 5 years ago!

Either I've become more serious and I raise my eyebrows more, or I've become old. And I'm pretty sure it's not the first option. lol

Well in my case its a specific reason it has to be water.

Im looking to up my water intake (Which, is generally at 0.) because Im back to working out again, which means I want to find a water I can drink daily without much fuss. Lemon lime was okay, but there is no way Im sticking with it for the long term. Its not that it tastes bad, its just the more I drink it, the more the flavor is lacking. If it had MORE flavor to it, Id have no problem sticking to it.

I want to find a way to get more water in my diet so I can flush my system better, clean out as much of the built up garbage, maybe lose some fat in the process.

I busted my butt in my 20s to reach 200 pounds. My kidneys giving out under the strain of over supplementing made me quit before I reached that goal. (It was warning pains it seems, as after I stopped pushing myself way too hard.... the pain went away)

Now, Im almost 200, so I WILL regain the definition of my body I had back then(Which will cause me to lose weight..... undoubtedly... but if I can now finally reach 200 without working out..... it means FINALLY, if I put in the time..... I can get there with muscle too. It sounds pretty obvious, but up til this point in my life I was a hard gainer.) , only I will be at my goal weight. It may have taken 15 years..... but a little cardio and some lifting and I will be EXACTLY where I wanted to be. Lifting and cardio is the easy part.

Ingesting a lot of water and a good diet..... THATS the hard part. I enjoy the lifting and physical stuff.

I like regular water. ^_^ My brother is like you though, he always wants flavored water.
Congrats on gaining the weight and good luck on the exercise and healthy diet. Sounds like good goals. :)
Its the same for me - I think exercising is easier than eating well. But I have noticed that sometimes exercise makes me want to eat better.

Well I have ALWAYS wanted to eat better, but then I always wanted to be rich, be a superhero.... etc.. etc. etc... Unfortunately they all so far seem to exist in the same realm of reality.

Water isn't bad, but when thats ALL you drink.... ugh. If I just drink a glass of water once and awhile I don't have a problem with it. But being my goal is every day, I have done it before and I was miserable cause it was all water all the time.

I would rather make changes that stick, not drink water til I can take it no more and go on a drink nothing but soda again a couple months max later binge.

I bought a rice cooker/ food steamer... so Im going to start steaming some chicken while I cook my rice.... hopefully it works cause I love rice and I love chicken (Made right they are up there with my love of tacos.)

IF I can find something like the lemon lime with stronger flavor I think Id be okay with it... The batch I made tasted like watered down flat sprite or something. If I could get enough flavor into it I would be happy.

The orange batch was WAAAAAAY too watered down. Tasted like a glass filled 1/20 of a glass of OJ, 19/20 of the glass water. It was underwhelming.

Watermelon is supposed to be VERY flavorful AND its supposed to be like natural Gatorade..... so... I may go that route after experimenting with the lemons, limes and oranges.

Ugh I'm so worn out. A massive wave of emotions this past week losing my grandma, then the Broncos winning the Super Bowl and now still dealing with this massive loss in my life. When someone is in their 80s, it's in the back of your mind, but she was a huge part of my life and even raised me for a lot of it. Then BAM, she's gone.
