It has everything, action, murder, suspense, love, drama...

A group of forum users who belong to some obscure forum called 'Christian forums' who are bored with their lives each receive an invitation to a mysterious island. On route to the island, little do they know the plane enters a time warp into a different age and crashes into the coast. The group is left in a fit for survival on an island uninhabited, at least by humans... and the ruins of an ancient highly advanced civilization. Who will follow the puzzles of this civilization? Who will enter into ultimate survival mode? Who will be devoured by the mysterious creature? Who will fall in love? Who will murder who?

Each playing their own role.

Space battle (Enterprise vs Reliant WoK version) Enterprise vs Vengeance (ID version)
WoK Spock dies, says goodbye to Kirk, regenerated on Genesis planet. ID Kirk dies, says goodbye to Spock, is regenerated by Kahn's blood.
Secret Technology WoK Genesis device, ID Dreadnaught class ship and transwarp beaming.
Kirk meets the woman who had his child, Dr Carol Marcus. Kirk meets woman he want to bear his son Dr. Carol Marcus.

The main differences were the real adversary and the destruction of Vulcan, death of Spocks mother.

Even Abrams admitted it was WoK, only the events took place in an alternate reality.

put it on the 'if the singles forum was' thread.
I'm curious how that movie would even work because CF members are from all over the globe so would not all likely be on one airplane. Sorry to point out glaring plot hole, but again, it could only work if maybe CF was actually a cult and offered people free tickets to heaven, provided they subscribed to some weird doctrine derived from chopped up scriptures in the Bible.
They miss heaven and end up being stuck on earth and find out...they weren't christians after all.

And therefore it should be allowed to be an alternate story. I thought it was a good movie. And I've seen WoK.

TBH, I didn't like much of what Abrams did to the whole Trek franchise.

He does, but Stargate isn't quite like Star Wars or Star Trek. Stargate is a military science fiction, and Ridley Scott has excellent experience producing both military films (Black Hawk Down) and science fiction (Alien, Prometheus, The Martian) and epic films (Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Exodus: Gods and Kings), his expertise in those genres can converge on the Stargate franchise to produce a genuinely spectacular film.

Maybe I got the wrong studio/demographic.

Well here's something for that would appeal to the tween market AND children of the 80's.

Apologies to Francine Pascal.
Sweet Valley High School Musical.

In this movie, Jessica Wakefield, tired of being a cheerleader, tries out for Sweet Valley High glee club and finds that she really is a gifted singer/performer. The Unicorns dare her to audition on The Voice/American Idol and she wins the audition. Simon Cowell and Jennifer Lopez both love her and she's proving blondes aren't really so dumb. But then she gets some advice to jazz up her solo number with a revealing outfit, and with Jessica's body, she can flaunt it. She gets voted in but one night nearing the finals she gets laryingtis and can't sing. Who else to fill in but her twin Sister Elizabeth? Will anyone even know? Elizabeth doesn't want to do it but Jessica pleads. She doesn't want to wear Jessica's revealing outifits either. And Elizabeth can't really sing the same way Jessica does. Will Elizabeth save the day and her sister's butt? Will she fail? Will she win but then reveal the deception?

songs include Jessica's rendition of Whitney Houstons numbers, and Britney Spear's hit me baby one more time number complete with revaling outfits and lots of hair flipping. Oh and Madonna's Material Girl number.
Also sub plot involving Lila Fowler and Bruce Patman, and surprise cameo by brother Stephen Wakefield.

I would like to see a movie on King Harald Hardrada (King of Norway in the mid 11th Century). The title could be something like "Live by the sword, Die by the sword".

The synopsis is, of course, Harald's life. Forced to fight for his live as a teenaged boy and flee his kingdom. He then served the Kievan Rus then he went to Constantinople and served as a commander in the Varangian Guard and was a favorite of Byzantine Empress Zoe. Harald fights for the Byzantines in Sicily, Africa and the Middle East then is forced to escape and flee back to Kiev. He takes back his kingdom and seeks to control Norway and Denmark. In his last year (AD 1066) he invades England and is killed at the Battle of Stamford Bridge.

I am not sure who would be in the major roles of Harald Hardrada, his wife Elizabeth, Empress Zoe, Yaroslav the Wise (Kievan Rus), King Harald Godwinson of England, etc.

It may be too much for a film and maybe it's more a plot for a mini-series

Of course, for music I'd want Wardruna to make the soundtrack

A group of survivors is making a new life for themselves four years after the zombie apocalypse, and one day receive a mysterious message about a safe zone that involves a very long and dangerous journey. They opt not to go, but ultimately have no choice when their settlement is destroyed. On the run from both human and zombie threats, the few traverse through the high plains mid-winter to make to safety.

"The Ghost Killer"
There's a serial killer who's leaving no shred of evidence outside of their mark. A young detective is put on this case, who quickly finds himself in a deteriorating mental state while searching for this killer who seems to almost not exist. The chase is eventually lead to a disturbed young woman from a mysterious, sheltered family. As the deaths continue, and reality becomes skewed, this ghost killer finally messes up and leave evidence, which points back to the woman...or does it?

Has there been a movie made of hercules and xena warrior princess? I dont think there has. Well another pitch to have this movie made and then of course being shot in NZ it would keep us natives employed.

Sypnosis.

Hercules happily married to his fair maiden travels to a far distant land for his annual honeymoon time. But he encounters nemesis xena warrior princess, who he doesnt know has now become a christian. Theres something different about xena and hes curious to know what it could be as she doesnt seem to be using any of her supernatural powers anymore. But his wife is also suspicious of xena being so nice and well, un xena like. Is she trying to steal her husband away?

Trouble is brewing though with the hobbits which they joruney to hobbiton on their way to rivendell and they call on hercules to save them with his manpower and muscles from the threat of a shoe making factory being built by evil dwarves. Will the hobbbits be converted to wearing shoes and never know the feeling of having green grass between their toes?

However he cant save them without xenas help.

Back with the Breeze - the sequel to Gone with the Wind.
Forget the other lame attempts at Windie sequels like scarlett, road to tara and rhett butlers people.

This is one that Margaret Mitchell may have written with the title she suggested.

Rhett has left Scarlett crying on the steps of her Atlanta mansion. She needs to go home to Tara, after all, tomorrow is another day.
The very next day she heads back to Tara, and Rhett arranges for their mansion to be sold, as he's going back to Charleston. They are not divorced, as that isn't respectable, but separated. He cannot handle her anymore and asks her to sort out her feelings for Ashley.
Scarlett arrives back at Tara to find Suellen in charge but not running things the way they should be. After some tantrums and more crying and pulling hair they call a truce and Suellen warms to the idea that Scarlett has of turning Tara into a bed and breakfast and tourist attraction for rich yankees.

That is until Belle Watling shows up.

I would like to film some of the stories from Tolkien's The Silmarillion. I think you could do an entire film just about Beren and Luthien or Túrin Turambar or the fall of Númenor. Or maybe a story from the First Age, during the Years of the Lamps or the Years of the Trees. Or maybe some kind of composite story could fleshed out.

While everything based on Tolkien's work thus far has been filmed in New Zealand, I would really like to take advantage of Iceland's unique landscape, I think there's a lot of potential there. Though I would definitely want to film in NZ as well.

I have to agree with you. I like Cumberbatch as an actor and I would actually like to see him in a movie where they cast him as a futuristic assassin or something. I think he would do a good job if his portrayal of Khan was any indication.

That sounds awesome!!! I would watch any and all of that, get to work Darth!!!
