With very little scientific evidence to offer the non-Christian world, it is a challenge to convey or define just what it is that Christians have that non-Christians do not.
Sufi mystics and bhakti saints found their own experiences hard to describe. They loved God as much as anyone ever did. We are not unique. Thinking that we are will prevent us from relating to other people with humility and understanding. Thinking that we are morally superior will prevent us from examining our own lives and we will be callous and clueless. We are not special and Christianity does not depend on us thinking that we are. It depends on Christ. His resurrection vindicates His claim to be divine. He is the Big Deal.

Sorry, I don't buy the Lee Stobel canard.
Could you not find an answer to my question? How did you arrive at the conclusion I was never an atheist. Why quote Dr. Lawrence Krauss if you are not open to discussion?

I aked what it was that turned you from the belief there were no supernatural deities, much less the God of the bible and Jesus, to then realize you had been wrong the whole time, and there was a God and you could actually talk to it like a son talks to a father?

Yes I understood the question. My question was how did you come to the conclusion that I was never an atheist? Do you not have an answer to that?

We can go around and around if you like but I am convince you have absolutely no desire to have an intelligent discussion whatsoever.

So what was it that turned you from the belief in God and Jesus to then realize you had been wrong the whole time?

My comment was in the vein of projecting an opinion onto another, much in the way you summarized my deconversion. My point is simply, projection gets us nowhere. If you'd like an answer, ask a question.

My deconversion was about an eight year process, and is best described as an unraveling. Once I had the courage to apply the "outsiders" test to my own faith, and took the time to educate myself on the evidence, it was only a matter of time.

So you gave up all this:

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Hebrews 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

... as well as this:

Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

... and are now claiming science as your saviour?

Yes. I felt it was time to grow up and accept reality as it is.

I have no answer that you would accept. I enquired of God and He answered in a supernatural way that I could not deny could only come from Him.
Can you tell us what supernatural answer you got from God, and why you cannot deny it could only come from him?

I already explained the reason for projecting my opinion and pointed out it was formed from your comments. You are avoiding answering my questions directly; why?
If you'd like an answer, ask a question.
I have asked questions of which none you answered.

So, in truth, my “projecting an opinion” based on your comments was correct. You threw off the yoke of religion because it did not please you.

Then you never had faith in God but faith in your religion.

I can but I will not. It is personal and contributes nothing to this thread which is not about me but about those who reject God’s gift to mankind.

When did I ever say religion didn't please me. Quit trolling.

I claimed you were never atheist, because atheists don't "enquire" of entities they don't believe exist.
