Hi; good to see you; God bless His Word to you. We need our thoughts about God to be led by the Spirit-inspired Word of God. John's Gospel, chapters 1 thru 3 and chapter 14 are great passages. Chapter 3.1 has a wonderful summary of the Gospel centring on the Savior.
