Can you please pray for me am applying for a job and I think it's the one God wants me to do.
Can you also pray for a good relationship between me and my future employer.
And also that it not only will pay enough for me to get by but that I will get to do Gods work in this school, which they said is secular. (it's a school librarian job).

God walk with you as you apply for this opportunity to which you believe he has led you. And may he build a bridge between you and your future employer.
Even in secular employment we can be a lamp for those who seek in the darkness. Looking forward to your positive news that you got the job. :)
Blessings,
D.

The interview went well and I'll know by Monday.
I have no idea what they'll pay me as no figures were discussed but I guess I have to trust the Lord on this one.
That's the best way to go. Continued prayers for you and I look forward to your update on Monday that you got the job. :)

Praying that you will be blessed with this job or an even better one, according to God's will and that you will make enough to cover your expenses with plenty left over. Thank you Father for hearing and answering these prayers according to your perfect will, Amen!

Awww, I am sorry to hear that. :(

At least it sounds like you were open about your faith. You did the right thing. Honestly, if the company did not like the fact that you were a Christian, the position might not have been a "good fit" anyway.

Praying for you.

wondering what to do now.
I don't feel like applying for anymore jobs ever again. I didn't really want to apply for that one anyway. When mum told me about it, I got mad and said I won't apply. But then I changed my mined and did (otherwise I'd never hear the end of it) and surprisingly got an interview and they seemed all nice.

And everyone else was hoping I would get it but I did say well look the principal isn't a christian and she seems very anti-Bible. Like the first thing she mentioned was 'this is a secular school' we read all kinds of books. And then said they had gaps in the collection but when I looked closely they actually did have books like Harry Potter etc. So I don't know what she was on about.

In the ad it was mentioning we need a 21st century librarian, and I think the principal might have had plans to turn the library into a computer lab. I don't want to babysit children on a computer. When I spoke with the assistant (who was going to retire) she said she hoped it wouldn't come to that as other schools had gotten rid of all their books. The library manager had retired previously as well. So it was just her and they hadn't bought any books since July.

Anyway. On the surface they were all friendly, but when I think about it something strange was going on. The previous principal had left as found out he had inappropriate content on his computer. So the new principal had only been there for five terms.

My primary students who I help teach bible in schools will be going to this school next year (they have their own bibles now). I just pray for this school that's all. If the principal doesn't agree with Bibles, then what's to stop her banning the whole thing and taking christian books out of the library and replacing them all with occult books??? (worst case scenario, but could happen).

I have plenty of work to do at home....just don't get paid for it, that's all.

I was thinking how you cant really lie about who are you are just in order to get a job with a secular employer. I mean I could have removed all christian references on my cv. But you dont always know if the employer is going to be open to you.

Also i got the impression that because i was a different ethnicity that she was interviewing me just as a token to the equal opportunity bureaucracy. I thought if I got the job then i would satisfy that requirement. Which is not a good reason to give a job to someone, really. Well it shouldnt be the main reason.

Anyway. I dont want to respond to the rejection email if it will come again. Since they already rejected me when I asked first.

I told my church ladies whod been praying for me and they were abit sad and said oh thats unfair. But maybe something else will come up. I dont know. I know another asked doors to be open and closed, well, it just seems since all the doors have closed i would be a fool to keep on knocking, when I already have the keys to the Kingdom.
