"...that's a very true post indeed..." went the goblin agreeing that he had had simpler times before, and where today everything seemed rushed by comparison, rushed to the point where the hours looking at a screen were as a pleasurable poison then, an opiate with cruel side effects as it were, then smiling "...it's like I want to know what I think, the inner world forms while the outer world crumbles away as I had written once, only to learn the inner world comes the cost of the outer world...", where old age was as a shipwreck where the muse was a siren, ah but then again the safe open sea missed all the excitement of dashing oneself upon her rocks for her gifts

repost from elsewhere, the "squishy emotional talk here" thread

nighttime now, as the goblin sits alone with his thoughts, well never quite alone it seemed as his ghosts served as company too but never at his service so to speak, no they were relentless in their repetition towards him, just they knew when he was writing as if attracted by his pen perhaps so there they were again, "...so what are writing tonight goblin..." one of them asked, "...hell I don't know, the first thing that comes into head mostly, does it make any difference to any of you where you're already dead and where these posts soon will be, no the truth of it is I'm not feeling in the slightest bit squishy now, just there wasn't room to feel squishy when you lot lived, I mean back then didn't we just do the right thing to the best of our abilities, I know I did, so nothing on that score has changed, just it's business as usual ghosts, that of living from one day onto the next till one arrives at "self" in the end...", where the ghost just smiled knowingly without comment seeing through the goblin's words, where true the goblin's life had ever been this journey to self it seems, and yet the goblin could never quite find it in himself to say outright his journey to death too, so perhaps that alone was the sole remnant his any squishiness he had left within him still

morning darkness hours from nowhere still and the goblin lets xxxxx sleep on again, meanwhile his thoughts few that they are though are more tied up at this point upon the usual finding warmth and coffee for he old man before this writing ritual begins in earnest, explaining "...nothing to it really, just I try to pass my lot through the focus of my pen each time, year pass but nothing in that respect ever changes really, same old juncture as it were where I write it out and where it writes itself in, my trying to catch it with my pen only to note how the catches me in the process, just a shared life if ever there was one..."

form previous experience the goblin this year had bought the very sweets that he himself liked so that if any remained he could eat them himself, yes and how he loved licorice he knew, plus it's colour of death just perfect then, only that the only thing that he had forgotten that he was not one of the those children there, not any more, so a couple so sweets in and the goblin his floored with a massive migraine the likes of which sends him not only venerating the dead on this their day then but emulating them somewhat deep in the depths on his bed-covers now, all no doubt with the dead folks smiling on to a chorus "...happy deathday dear goblin happy deathday to you..."

"...trolling and malice are ever two things apart in my view..." ventured the goblin adding "...though I guess you won't understand what any of those trolls are about until you've spent a couple of years on their forums like I have...", the goblin looked up at everyone and restarted "...no, at times I actually need to be of troll's forums if only because an awful lot of me get suppressed while here on these more structured forums, simply this well meaning considerate self is not my natural self then, just one is not trying on trolls forums to impress the reader, thus one relaxes in the fray of dysfunctionality there, and yet taken to an extreme too much fraying turns one defensive causing one to stunt one's post into those "one liners" that is their norm there, so their forum alone isn't the answer for me neither, instead it is one part of my diet, a type of food on a balanced diet, yet I don't mix types of foods together that's all...", thus there is there and here is here then, and the goblin then added another youtube stream to underline just how important it is to keep one's foods apart, smiling "...yet malice is something else again, something that could come from anywhere even, and as such is something that has to be avoided at all costs, for malice is poison pure and simple..."

noon now, where the fog hasn't dissipated all morning, nor today is it likely to neither, instead it hovers the city in a cold dampness slightly above and between the rooftops and the skyline lending itself as a backdrop to an unknown future that the goblin now finds himself in, relating "...switzerland is in the middle of the EU, this european union as we knew it, where it plays the of being in the EU is most convincingly to the casual eye, but is apt to go quite contrary to the EU where need be, as it did in january of this year in unpegging its currency from the euro thus allowing its franc to float upwards, meanwhile the euro looks increasingly unstable and fragmented, leaving the dollar only strong by default at best, just default strong then, and britain with its national debt that bigger by per capita than america's...", at which point the goblin just looked up at the cloud from his coffee in the bistro and asked "...so is it war this time too, I mean must they always kick over the chess board at each end of empire...", and still that cloud just hovered in the wake of the goblin's thoughts, yes he could fall silent but he would think all the same

I hate being a single parent flea, there are moments when I'm not strong enough

"...compromise to dailylife xxxxx as everyone must I guess, but don't ever compromise to this forumland here..." smiled the goblin who didn't care what xxxxx wrote really but cared dearly that xxxxx actually got to write it out of herself then, adding "...life's angels are not there to be nice they're there to help you shine in their reflection...", but by now the goblin was repeating himself again, adding "...not much I know but I'm good at listening if it helps..."

the goblin was going through the motions today, he was supposed to keep track on the news he knew, but it was unfolding too fast for him to see what was coming next, saying "...it's not paris I know, it's the middle east next, yet how far this is going to go though, and no I don't have time for those who look the other way or say to me I shouldn't be addressing this in whatever I write here...", so the mindset of war it was then, with the french prime minister mr valls announcing "we are are war", and somehow the goblin's mind was thrown back george orwell's book where a permanent state of war permeates throughout, sighing "...this forces me to grow up quickly, if I don't see myself in this I will be swept away in their tide of hate and reprisals, no I'm swiss, I'll vote against any involvement in reprisals as they never make us safer, they only makes us surrender our liberties as seen, I'm not mario to the media's cipolla here..."

"...to be fair, the spambots have been around since as far I can remember, though oddly I prefer having them around too..." ventured the goblin, adding "...and why indeed you may ask, well because one then races them in one's posting where if one doesn't remain posting the spambots come along and bury one's thread in their newer threads serving one right for one's complacency and meaning that those post and run types don't stand a chance against them, and that only the most tenacious of goblins like myself can survive in this harsh climate here...", and with that the goblin bade the human welcome now

"...well there's not much to this posting lark, one simply finds someone one can relate to and then tries to relate in earnest..." ventured the goblin always making it sound simpler than it was really, then adding "...but let's put this context, for example you could write 3000words a day for months on end, editing it finding a suitable cover too, and then once done try to sell it on amazon for 99cts, meaning flipping those hamburgers was probably more lucrative, moreover too, that you would then have to find one's readers in part upon these writer's forums, where to make yourself look more legit you might put your book cover in the avatar, placing your link in the signature, while raving about your book every chance you get...", and yes the goblin had seen it all before, years of it by now, restarting "...alternatively, from day one you could just do a mere 12lines post each day pulling those very same readers to your posts directly, yes a well placed post in the middle of some busy forum receives 100hits a day, thus choose ten busy forums and it becomes 1000hits a day, do that 30days equating to 30000views a month, where three months would about equates to the time it took to do that book, 90000hits then, yes 90000 reads for a 12line post a day for 90days...", not that the goblin cared much about being read he simply preferred to remain anonymous and chat with those here instead, smiling "...naah, I could put on airs but you'd soon see through me for in the end I'm just another poster like anyone else here, no I mean anyone could do this..."

"...I mean don't you want to know who you really are by what you post then, yes those kiddie posts and soundbites are ok for a while, but at some point you have to really challenge yourself here, where nothing is actually here to begin with bar you focusing upon your thoughts to an open slot before you, so reach in and write out, where the bored simply reflect their lack of imagination, and how they just depend upon others for own amusement each time, but you're not one of them I hope,

Remember this from January 2014? No I haven't read through from there, no way. Just to say "chapeau" for persistent, persevering panchromatic, (but hopefully not pandoric) posting. May abseil in a few lines now and then. The wind blows where it will while we tend to whim our way.
Go well

"...just that ISIS is the west's enemy of convenience as it were, used to channel hate towards it while giving the west its excuse to pursue that own expansion program instead..." ventured the goblin feeling that "where the weapons came from" was about as irreverent a question as asking "how two planes can take down three buildings", at which point the goblin just continued by saying "...just that to date the west has played its card badly, first it lost the cold war by being unable to continue it while it could have, then the republic of america was superseded by the 9/11 coup d’etat that then embarked on that seven countries in five years fiasco that anyone in the military knows is lost in advance, plus it devalued the currency for some unsustainable short term gain too, but why will the west lose time around, perhaps because evidently the heads of bric nations today, as well as most nation states shortly, are not as easily duped as the west's electorate are when it comes to using the media to falsely report all this to be some "going after ISIS then" when instead it's obviously an expansion program pure and simple...", in fact, the goblin knew that everyone knew it too, only that the west had no choice really as it had no other cards left to play

Mother and Father of the little larval lanternflies spoke to them frequently, encouraging them, though they would not speak back yet. Among what was said they spoke the promises and the requirements that were from what Yahweh said they were to remember, to their little ones. The symbols for these were already scratched deep in the trunks of several trees, for that they had the giant arachnids' help, as it was more permanent than their scratches in the ground among the trees. But the lanternflies did not keep meeting frequently with those superspiders. One day still came, as their larval children were still growing, they heard a voice, to their surprise. They looked, and saw one animal they hadn't seen before. It was larval, but much larger than their children, and it was looking right at them from a higher branch, full of leaves.

Father of the lanternflies asked, "Did you speak to us?"

The great larva repeated the statement to them. "This is such a poor way for you to live. I could show you how you could make a large structure such as one you had seen, though for sheltering you, not for watching all that happens outside around you. Everything with you can keep dry that way, when it might get wet outside. And I would show that you can make walls, to keep to yourselves."

Mother answered, "Yahweh has told us, we are not to make boundaries among any others in our world, and told us to remember that this world Yahweh gave for us to live in is perfect for us, as it seems to be. We shouldn't do anything to alter any of it."

"But if you do these things," the great larva went on, as if what was answered was of no consequence to keep speaking about, "you will show that you are ingenious and inventive, and all others in this world seeing it will respect you, and you will be most supreme here!"

Cool cat sat on cold snow. Coal black cat, Cheshire cat grin, looking up to see within.
White flakes floating down carpeting, covering all around.
Snow can cover such a multitude of sins.

Cool cat sat on the white mat softly he began to hum a song. He though of his lost love long gone over the seas to nonsense land. There no snow but always winter, though they dance on the sands so gaily, always winter, though they feast on mince and quince and capercaillie.

When the sun returned to burn the land and no more the snow to cover, to cover.
Where to look, where to go? What would all this waiting show?

There was another land he knew, a wonderland, always Christmas, never winter,
though, there was snow when it was meet and right.
A wonderland where black cats would grin and grin. Cool cat began to hum a song and then he began to sing.

at times the goblin would visit the chocolate factory in broc, where for the mere price of 10frs one could not only get to see the process of chocolate being made but also eat and many chocolates as one wished to too, yet no one there was ever overweight it seemed, simply they ranged between being well built perhaps or thin even, why so, the goblin didn't know the answer, yet when one visited the castle of gruyere nearby to have some cheese fondue lunch there, then all the women were clearly overweight, at which point the goblin remarked "...more is less then, I'm often in a situation where I can have or do something to the extreme, only to note how prudent I am then as if the simple life needs steering into that simplicity where taken to excess even good things are bad really..."

"...interesting dangerous times, quite transitional too, but as dangerous as it may seem I actually like the fact that there's is a new counterbalance, a buildup of counter-pressure as it were, so all eyes on america now since it will be perceived at this point that its seven countries in five years program has failed miserably meaning it will have to come up with a new policy where clearly the government doesn't run the show for the vested interest groups who do..." ventured the goblin, thanking the welcome gatecrasher for the food and the company, then adding "...no the only difference between the sheepdog and the big bad wolf is the trust of the sheep, where turkey will increasingly throw in its lot with isreal, but where russia might opt to support the kurds if it needs them, and where iran finally gets america off its back, but the west's real goal has been to stop russian raw materials from reaching european markets, where europe by the way is little more than germany really, the others are like small by comparison..."
