Yes! I am very proud of myself as I'm 36 weeks pregnant and still managing to walk my dog every day and do a BodyPump class three times a week. Today I attended BodyPump - so basically a 50 minute strength training workout for all major muslce groups: Legs, chest, back, triceps, biceps, shoulders and core!

I'd like to lose more weight. I've lost a third of what I wanted to lose overall, so I just need to keep up with what I'm doing.

I want to take up Kung Fu as well when I lose more weight and gain more confidence and I would also quite like to take up climbing as well. Either way, looking forward to losing more weight and taking up some activities that are both fun but help maintain a healthy lifestyle :)

Great plan. I have found that alternating martial arts training with some basic cardio -- jogging, swimming, etc. plus some weight training, and of course, "stretching", are very helpful. Additionally, as is the case with quite a few martial artists, adding some type of "energy work" -- meditation, chi kung, Reiki, etc., is a huge help in keeping yourself in great condition. And, obviously, eating properly, too :)

Sooooooooo happy to say I did workout today. The injuries in my leg are about 85 percent healed. I can have pretty normal level of activity again. I'm so grateful. Today, I did a bunch of interval walking while watching tv, also did some light weights, and did a few minutes of beginning karate moves. I think I'm going to be able to start a taking class in January, so I want to be ready. I love it!

I have always understood perfectly from Romans 12:1 that I should offer up my body to the Lord as a living sacrifice. I've just been unable to sustain my efforts in the past.

In the summer of 2014 I was very fit (for me). Then for no apparent reason i started eating like it was going out of style! I soon stopped exercising, and now I'm a weak lump who has packed on 30 pounds!

I prayed for a real desire of the heart to glorify God physically and to be a good steward of my body.

I have stopped eating sugar (except in fruit), and have been limiting my portion size at meals. I am also trying to avoid things that are obviously junk.

For myself, I just want to be decently fit. I don't have to be the most sculpted 56-year-old on the block!

But I'd like to be able to go hiking next summer.

I'm going great guns--I've made it all the way up to two whole days! ^_^

I need prayer from you guys for real resolve and continued desire to please God this way--plus a genuine appreciation for exercise. I do not enjoy the process in any way. I am praying for a change of heart, and I hope you will pray with me, too.

Exercise accomplished for today.

My son was sleeping on the couch in the room next to the treadmill, so i couldn't walk to music. I asked the Lord to somehow occupy my thoughts with prayer so i could stand it.

He did--and it was lovely, inspired, deep prayer for others!

I am pleased.
