Do we know the motive of the Planned Parenthood Attacker?

It's being reported that the shooter claims "no more baby parts" was his motive. Hope the video editors are happy.

Fellow conservatives. I know of NO conservatives that aren't saddened by this murderous act. And your post is a cheap shot and irresponsible. You can't possibly know the political affiliation of those twitter accounts. Even if you could, you have to know that such idiots who tweet like that don't represent the majority. There are idiots in all political stripes. Within hours, liberals were assigning motives to this killer. That was while the shooting was still happening. Some people say really thoughtless things. You're post on "fellow Conservatives" is thoughtless.

The tweets aren't by conservatives? Stuff like "I'm very happy the shooter's mother chose not to abort him #PlannedParenthood" ? And "the shooter saved more babies lives...." etc?

The shooter said "no more baby parts" and said he was anti-abortion. And "just happened" to shoot up a Planned Parenthood after the false videos were put out and the GOP presidential candidates supported them? After Carly Fiorina lied on National television in support of the lying videos? So do you think the shooter isn't conservative?

Let's see if the media avoids calling this what it appears to - terrorism.

No matter what your ethical views on abortion are, this is nearly the most disgusting position you could take in response to a shooting spree - that the victims were just as bad as the killer, as if the victims deserved to be murdered.

Do you seriously believe that this terrorist who murdered a police officer, murdered two civilians, and wounded nine others is as bad as a doctor that performs a legal elective medical procedure to terminate a pregnancy!?

I looked at each and every one of those twitter posters and could only find one that claimed to be a conservative. One claimed to be a libertarian. There's a difference. I am a conservative and I was appalled at reading those tweets. But you can't know the motivation behind a person's mind by reading one tweet! You shouldn't pretend you can. And why would you want to suggest that 4 tweeters represent the feelings of an entire group?

We know very little about the shooter at this point. He appears to be a very disturbed man. He lived alone with no electricity or running water. When and where exactly did he say anything about seeing those videos? And how do you know the mindset of this man when the authorities are trying to figure things out? BTW, videos don't lie. That's laughable. They show what they show. It seems liberals will go to any lengths to marginalize conservatives even if they need to twist the truth. Forget what the Bible says about bearing false witness.

Garrett Swasey, 44, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs police officer who was shot and killed while responding to a shooting at a Planned Parenthood office, was described by his fellow church members and friends as a courageous man and loving father who drew strength and inspiration from his Christian faith.

He was married, with two young children, and had been on the campus police force for six years. He also spent seven years as a co-pastor at Hope Chapel in Colorado Springs.

Dontanville, who knew Swasey for 15 years, told the New York Times that although Swasey would “disagree with the abortion industry,” his personal beliefs would not have been a factor in how he chose to act during the attack on Friday.

“I don’t think that was on his mind,” Dontanville said. “He was there to save lives. That’s the kind of guy he is.”

He was a Conservative Christian. He died trying to "protect and serve" those who worked in the Planned Parenthood building. To use this tragedy as an excuse to besmirch all Conservatives (or any other group) is reckless and irresponsible.

That people lost their lives should be the focus of any outrage. I hate abortion and think it kills an innocent human being. But the killing of innocent people is never justified. I'm told that this particular PP didn't even do abortions. I could be wrong. Even if they did, that's no reason to justify murder.

Imagine the pain those poor families are going through at this time. Christmas is a short month away and there are families that are suffering because some crazed individual decided to go on a shooting rampage. My brother lost his son in a tragic accident and the pain and suffering endured through grief is almost too much to bear.

I for one will wait for all the facts to come in about this killer before deciding on motives. People are responsible for their own actions and we ought not to use this tragedy to score political points. For now however, it's a time to grieve.

I'd already heard about this guy, and he is actually a great example of pro-life, because he lost his life protecting the lives of others. But he wasn't the only one who died, just fyi.
